Hey, happy new years. I've been having difficulty with my radio (gen v wrangler). Hopefully you can help me with my antenna issue. I'm trying to use the Google maps via the radio (I connect it to my mobile hotspot) but the antenna isn't reading my location. I've purchased a second antenna on Amazon, thinking that the original was the problem but the same issue persists. Any help would be appreciated

​@LinksWellInc I initially had it mounted under the dash board like the installation video suggested but then I removed it and I have it sitting on top of my dashboard. But before I put the radio back in the dash, I tried to ensure that I had a signal, but, unfortunately, I didn't

Also an update for the ac controls while in an app the ac controls leave off the screen to fast don’t have time to set the ac controls it work good from the Home Screen but not while in an app

How do find out what gen your radio is. I bought my 2020 gladiator and it was already installed, and is it possible to reset the radio back to stock settings so I can start all over. Thanks

You either look at the back of the radio. Or in Settings/System/Software Version. If it’s Android 8.1 it’s a Gen 4 If it’s Android 9.1 it’s a Gen 5 If it’s Android 11 it’s a Gen 6.

@@robinparker99 really only way 100% back to factory is a format update. You can try a factory reset in the system settings.

I have the links well xl in my f150 I’m using a verzion SIM card it work great but my data antenna ex out like I have no service how do I get it to show and when will a tampered glass screen protector come out I’m still using the plastic that it came with lol

So check for updates for the display. So we don’t make screen protectors. So I don’t know that one will be made outside of what is on there.

It can not be from your phone. Your phone is seen as a multimedia device not a storage device. So it can not access the files. You can use a USB as well with your image. I show that in the video as well.

So watch my video on Bluetooth. The Bluetooth in the radio is not a standard tablet Bluetooth it’s a Handsfree chip first. Which limits its 3rd party device connection.

We have 2 small 5 pound tanks we use at the shows. Usually they are empty and used as a display stapled into our storage rack.
