Hi Sir! Still use the original exhaust (all rotten) in my t5 with polini kit ad for that reason i want to upgrade and have doubts between Simonini or Bgm pro bigbox touring, what is the best for my bike!? Any thoughts? thanks in advance

forget all the old exhausts simonini, leovinci etc. the are outdated, every standard box has better power. i wouldnt take bgm. esp the bbT is very loud and manifold is too low. its worth adjusting a standard px to t5. polinibox brings torque, a megadella does rev nicely

Try removing all the baffles inside and weld it back together, it might work.

One has to wonder if the Malossi 80's equivalent pressed metal "racing exhaust" is a similar construction to this fine example of Polini "racing" prowess.....?!🙄😏

Malossi "expansion" exhaust should have no internal walls (never opened one myself so I can't tell 100% for sure). But the Malossi one is also the loudest, similar to Simonini one, so it makes sense that it could have no walls. Simonini is maybe the 2nd loudest and it only has 1 wall, right before the silencer. Simonini and Malossi also perform better than Polini and Giannelli. ... Still pretty bad compared to modern box exhaust 😁

there was only one version but kindof yes, it was always meant to be an originalexhaust in "racing" form, just marketing/sales made a RACING exhaust out of it, which is definitely heavy fake news. DGM road legal sthg like that, havent got the official info but was confirmed by older vespisitis and italians
