I just made these and they were delicious! I didn't even get to decorate them before my family just helped themselves to one too many cookies lol. I used Kerry Gold unsalted butter. The taste is similar to danish butter cookies but with the sugar cookie consistency. Definitely a keeper!

OMG Thank You So Much. I should have come to you first. I just made the worse sugar cookie from Pintrest it was a complete fail, dry dry dry. I was in tears because they were so bad. I moved and all my receipes are still in storage. Making these for my Grandson's Birthday. Thank you

it's best to use unsalted butter. Salted butter has more moisture and can change the texture. They may not hold their shape.

Hello Nanette, did you roll up the scraps each time after cutting and press back out and freeze again for 20 minutes? I did that several times. Also, it'll depend on the size of your cut-outs
