Ex Parrot Mine learned how to open his cage from seeing how I do it XD he'll be out all day playing and go into his cage and sleep in his ship and wake up at night and start his chaos or plop on my bed then he wakes the other one up to join in his shenanigans. luckily I've been awake those times to catch em those sneaky little carpet sharks.

Lol. Our Loki used to open our boxes of cards. Within the first week of coming home with us he knew how to climb over boxes and use his back feet to kick them and how to wedge his nose into places to move boxes and obstructions. Of course, if we want him to do something he blows us off. Ferrets are very clever and certainly clever enough to know not to do stuff just because their silly humans want them to. XD

HI there EpicFerret.com I had to sub.as soon as I saw this video!! Tooooo cute! I have 2 ferrets named Jim Tom, & Bobo. They are my children..I LOVE ferrets! I always liked cats, & had them..ferrets are kind of like cats, but better! They have got to be the cutest, smartest, most entertaining animals! I always wanted ferrets while growing up.., but my parents always got me hamsters instead..lol & hamsters are very cheap. So I finally got my dream pet...and two of them! I couldn't be happier with my little guys! I sit and just watch them sometimes for hours..So entertaining to say the least. They are the best of friends! And they are completely opposite. Anyways..I'll be looking forward to more videos!

I beg to differ! Mine was smart, he was free roaming and would go outside and come back as he pleased! You are mistaking, they are extremely intelligent! Not only are they visual learners but audio as well, I used to take mine with me just about everywhere and I would say "Sammy wanna go outside" and he would run to the front door! There smarter than many people know that's a fact!

They are illegal to buy but not to have in CA. If you have an exotic pets license I believe. If you can get the license then you can go out of state to get one.

I have had ferrets before, and I want to get another. But I want to get only one. I am retired so it would be out a lot playing with me and my cats. Do you think in this case it would be okay to only have one? He would get a lot of attention and companionship.

petmom ful I don't have any experience with keeping a single ferret. There are many people who do keep only one and claim to be successful in keeping them happy but I believe it takes considerably more effort to do. Even though people can have deep relationships with their ferrets it seems that they relate and socialize with each other much more naturally than with people. When I see them wrestle and groom/sleep with one another I am sure that despite my efforts I could not be a suitable substitute for that interaction. However if you are going to adopt a single ferret than I am sure they would be happier with you than they would be in a shelter. Thank you. I did check out a shelter this morning, but they only have older bonded pairs. Tho I do try to adopt from shelters, I did not want two and I wanted a kit, so I did not adopt, still considering it. I am going to help out the shelter, tho. You make a good point that if they have each other they entertain each other, but you also have double the cleanup, poop, and work. Your videos are so fun!

Yeah, I have one and he gets lots of love. The kids in the neighborhood love it when I walk him outside with his harness. I have to watch him like a hawk, tho, cause once in a while he slips out of it. He loves my dog, and my cats are starting to play with him also. He is so much fun and loves being out on the lawn. LOL
