What he means is, eat whole foods. You don’t need to avoid bread and pasta cus of starch, u should avoid them because they’re heavily processed and thus easier to digest.
@Masterbaiter10006 ай бұрын
Processed foods are easier to digest so that was dumb lmao
@walshembellishment19615 ай бұрын
@@Masterbaiter1000that’s what he said though and that’s his point. Heavily processed, starchy carbs are easy to digest, so they don’t keep you full as long. Whole grains take much longer to break down, keeping you fuller longer, which you want when in a calorie deficit.
@Masterbaiter10005 ай бұрын
@@walshembellishment1961 yeah exactly. Processed foods are easier to digest and are good for you. Starch increases insulin making it hard to burn fat. Matter of fact. People that are looking ti grow muscle processed foods are 100 times better. This mf probably drinks 2 to 3 protein powder shakes a day. Those are ULTRA processed lmaoo
@Masterbaiter10005 ай бұрын
@@walshembellishment1961 heavily processed means easily digested. That's good. If you want to build muscle. What do you think protein powder is. Cut carbs and sugar. It's that simple. Even bodybuilders eat more protein than carbs. And the fact starch is easy to digest means it's not good for weightloss. That's why they eat it with brocoli. But that's because they need the energy since they have low fat and more muscle.

Jay, as always, great videos and info. I've been mixing my own pre, mid and post-workout drinks for a few years now. I enjoy being able to adjust my doses based on my needs. I get my supplements raw and uncut. Have you ever mixed your own? I swear by it. I'm interested in your opinion on what your "ideal" mix is/was. If you'd like, I can post my ingredient list. Again, great videos and thanks for taking the time to post. I'll be competing again on 8June16, NPC, Classic Physique.
