Do keep in mind that Childe was fighting this thing for over a month by HIMSELF while we were serving our sentence in the Fortress of Meropide for stealing Furina's exclusive cake. Edit: I still believe that Childe's vision would have reduced the strain he gets from overusing his Foul Legacy by a large margin. Furthermore, Furina's story quest kind of solidifies that Archons almost have nothing to do with the distribution of Visions. So that still leaves a question unanswered- why did Childe's vision turn off in Fontaine?

Fun Fact: The Traveller was in the Fortress of Meriople for 45 days as per their sentence to investigate Childe Disapperance. This means Childe was fighting that whale for more than 45 days aka more than a Month. 😅

Note that Neuvillette said its pointless to fight the whale because it can still survive if you fought at a scale destroying the entire teyvat. It was defeatable only after Neuv got his Dragon authority back and separated the Primordial Sea from the whale. So Childe was holding back an Immortal & Invincible whale for over 45 days non-stop.

Childe is and always has been my favourite character ever since I got him in 1.4, absolutely one of the best characters in the game Also during the world quest I found a note that read “"To, lo, Pan! That which lies beneath the great sea!" The purpose of this line in the ritual scripture is to forsake the self and sink into the abyss, and in the abyss, to welcome rebirth as a holy infant. The origin of this is a tragedy of unknown provenance that has been passed down by persons unknown to this day. Said play is called "Ajax," or "Aias." He was the second-strongest warrior in his alliance.” Although the play itself is of unknown origin, what if such is a prophecy like that of Fontaine’s sinking? What if Ajax (Childe) does become the second strongest warrior in his alliance? His abyssal powers, his master, his voicelines about needing the traveller to keep training so when the world lies at his feet we can still fight him, could it all be leading up to one pivotal point of his story? I believe he’ll be getting a second story quest in Snezhnaya in any case, after all he did invite us to meet his family

Childe shown to be fast, strong, enduring, and most of all, a badass. In the Labyrinth Warriors event he talked about his love of endless battle -- there he got to fight hordes for days straight. Here he gets to fight a boss for over a month. I love the sense that he is constantly getting stronger and improving himself. Childe is cool as hell.

yea his foul legacy is a dual elemental after all, but in this scene he was just using electro with his delusion since he didn't have his hydro vision so there isn't a hydro element in the mix

Fun fact: a day in Teyvat equals to a MONTH in the abyss. Since Ajax's dissapearance until we get out of the Fortress and trap Furina to judge her (which is the moment when this fight happens) we spent AT LEAST about 15 days inside the Fortress alone, meaning that Ajax has been fighting this whale for OVER A YEAR STRAIGHT IN REAL TIME! Again, 1 day in Teyvat is a MONTH in the Abyss, so 15 days outside is 15 MONTHS inside the Abyss! He's been using ONLY A DELUSION, which slowly drains your life away (it ended the life of our friend Teppei in Inazuma). The fact that he's still alive shows that Ajax is not just any other character, but rather one of the strongest people in all of Teyvat (he still got solo'd by Neuvillette but he's a goddamn dragon so whatever). TL;DR: Common Ajax W.

Without "left" it would mean she never had love and sees them as pawns she can easily dispose of. With "left" it means she loved her people so much she has none left to give, but she it's because of that love that she wants to take down Celestia, so that everyone can be free of their Tyranny.

I don’t think that’s the Fatui motif since the whale makes the same leitmotif when it enters frame. I have the feeling it’s specifically Childe or the Narwhal’s or possibly an abyssal leitmotif

But that motif and the motif that plays the moment Tartaglia enters the scene are not the same. Since the motif that plays when Tartaglia burst out that rift can be heard as well on other Fatui theme's such as Tartaglia's phase one, Signora's phase two and Scaramouche's transformation and second phase. Yes, I do believe that the first motif is the whale's motif, but the motif that I'm talking about is the Fatui motif.
