Very nice. That one at ~8:45 looks like it could be a brother to the Grinch. As for future improvements, how about getting one of the boys, at the end of the video, to say which item was their favorite? It would be nice to hear/see what they think and why... plus hopefully it gets them even more interested!

Limb cast just means that everything inside the tree or tree limb was replaced with mineral (in this case Agate and Jasper).

Great job. Have you ever tried to dissolve the the limestone with acid? Try one of the poorer pieces and then let us know what it looks like. Just look on line for how to do it. My daughter and family lives in Kingston Nova Scotia and I try to rock hound when I visit.
@RockhoundingLife4 жыл бұрын
Not with these pieces because the limestone is what the bark/skin imprint is preserved in. I wouldn't want to lose that definition.

So are these the ones you showed collecting a mess of Them on the beach or a beach type area? First I've seen this type of limb cast. Here in Oregon we have limb casts a hat are much different. Different trees for sure as well as my st of the minerals as well f on what I can tell. All in all they are all beautiful. Congrats, you know they say the first 1000 is the hardest. You'll be at 20 million before you know it.
