This is why imo agates are better than precious gems (diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires) despite not been commercially as valuable, they're all unique which means there's always something new to see

I feel the same for agates and opals interms of the uniqueness making them alot better looking than all other 'precious gems'.

I do a lot of sapphire fossicking and you'd be surprised how different they can be. All the colours of the rainbow. Some with 2 or 3 different colours. It's mind blowing seeing precious gems in your sieve that came out of a dirty creek. But I understand what you're saying. I've bought 7kg of these Malawi agates. Pretty fun to cut 👍🏻

I walked about 4 km on lake Ontario this week-end as the weather was incredibly mild... I collected a few rocks... They were not as beautiful as these agates but the pleasure was the same!!😅 Thank you for sharing these treasures with us. Now I'm always wondering what they would look if they were cut... 😂! Even my vocab has improved!!

I hope you cut more of the rocks lengthwise, or turn them sideways and go lengthwise, in more videos. It shows more design to us. Also if you turned it on the side, if it's kind of flat, turn it on the side and go down lengthwise instead of across. We would love to see it on both ways on different ones. 🙂 You have found some beautiful stuff. though.

12:52. I haven't watched a lot and know even less than nothing about what is being accomplished, but so far, that is the first time that you have opened up a rock and the two sides do not match as precisely (almost as if they are two separate moments of creation) as what you have shown in so many of these cuttings. I thought that was really interesting - - as are most all of them.
