Cutting Shower Floor Tile

Tiling a Shower doesn't have to be complicated or overwhelming 😃
Here are the top tips for cutting shower floor tile that I think will help:
1. Template the shower floor 🔥 This tremendously helps out with avoiding sliver cuts and providing a full overview look of what you are about to cut
2. Use a flexible drain grate/cover that allows you to center drain with tile 💥 HYDROBLOK makes a very easy drain system that allows for adjustment
3. Avoid cutting mosaic tiles on a wet saw 💦 Many tiles will fall off of mesh this way and cause a lot more headache
4. Use a good grinder & blade 💫 Levelin tools makes a great inexpensive porcelain blade that works great

Great video…. I always cut my mosaic using a wet saw with the cardboard underneath and it works great at keeping everything intact. Once I get my layout I put the mosaics back in the original cardboard packaging and have it.

Granted you provided a link to Levelin Tools BUT it takes you to their home page where you then have to navigate their entire tool selection and then, unless you want to buy their complete polishing pad kit,... it appears you're out of luck. 7:24 "Get one of these" ... I was hoping you would mention your "go to" preferred grit level when touch up cut edges. Regardless... love your content, I'm a long time fan.

1/4” x 1/4” got this 3/16” tile

I try to center the drain on the tile pattern so it looks perfect, then make cuts around the edge

That’s the benefit of a drain that can be moved to work with tile. Perimeter can be even and drain centered where it looks good
