Nahh man…you can’t cut Meta Knight and keep King K. Rool. That doesn’t make sense to me. Meta Knight is definitely more of an All Star than King K. Rool. I think you also kept way too many 3rd parties for a Nintendo All Star game. I think the essential characters and bare minimum roster is: Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Yoshi, Pikachu, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Zelda, Ganondorf, Marth, Meta Knight, Wario, Diddy Kong, King Dedede, Olimar, Charizard, Villager or Isabelle, Shulk, and Inkling. Anyone else is extra - especially 3rd parties.

I would honestly say the opposite is true for what you said about Echo Fighters. The functionality of Echos allow there to be more character representation with less actual work. I'd go as far as to say not only would ALL echo-fighters (and the respective characters they attach to) be safe, but some characters may be made into echo fighters for the sake of convenience. Dr. Mario, Pichu, and Lucas come to mind. There could also easily be additional echos to give other franchises reps without fully committing to a new moveset (Ex: Shadow as Sonic's echo, Zeraora as Lucario's Echo, Funky Kong as DK's echo, etc)

I see these videos all the time and there way too greedy. If smash really was to reboot they can’t just go back to a roster the size of Smash 4, it’d make the most sense if they went all the way back to a melee sized roster of 26 characters. I feel smash 6 should be a game that puts a heavy focus on the custom moves from smash 4 because since those were a really good idea with wasted potential. I also feel that old characters will all eventually come back. Smash 6 should be kinda like fortnite just without the micro currencies. Continuously updating. I feel like Smash 6 could last for years to come if it added 3-5 new characters, stages, and etc each year. The reboot roster would have to have a mix of old and new characters. Also no third party because it should focus primarily on Nintendo. So here’s my ideal Smash 6 roster. 1.Mario 2. Luigi 3. TOTK Link 4. Kirby 5. Samus(Dread Suit as Default) 6. Donkey Kong 7. Pikachu and Red(Red’s move set should be revamped to have him bring out other Pokémon like Charizard for a quick special move, and eventually you’ll be able to choose which Pokémon you’d want to play as and the other would just become a special instead.) 8. Star Fox( All 4 Star fox’s members in one slot like Olimar and Alph but for characters like Slippy and Peppy there speed and weight can still be changed.) 9. Isabelle(Animal crossing) 10. Tom Nook. 11. Mewtwo 12. Giovanni( Giovanni would represent the antagonist side of Pokémon, he would also be given Red’s old gimmick of being able to switch between Pokémon. He would have Persian his most iconic Pokémon, Nidoking his most used Pokémon, and Garchomp his most modern Pokémon.) 13. Alear with Emblem rings(This would be a way to stop fire emblem character from filling up the roster. Each of his Alts would be a different emblem ring that could help him in battle. For example at launch he would only have Marth but slowly more emblem rings would be added.) 14. Olimar (He would have all his Pikmin though) 15. Agent 3/ Captain(Would work identical to inkling but instead it’s just an actual character in the splatoon story.) 16. Bowser 17. TOTK Zelda 18. TOTK Ganondorf 19. Captain Falcon 20. Ness 21. Yoshi 22. Anna (An actually recurring fire emblem character that would have an extremely unique move set.) 23. Donkey and Dixie Kong 24. Princess Peach 25. Pyra and Myrthra

Great list, I just didn't agree with Pit and R.O.B In my opinion, Pit represents Smash Bros as much as Captain Falcon and I don't think this is a definitively dead franchise, despite being years without a new game And I see enormous potential in R.O.B, which is to represent the current console. It would be cool to see his moves representing features and technologies of a new console. Anyway, I think it's worth keeping R.O.B in a possible reboot, as long as he doesn't stay the same

Yea I have to disagree over Duck Hunt over Little Mac. Punch Out is still a well known franchise and the legacy it holds to the NES and one of the most recognizable games more than Duck Hunt especially since Punch Out has many games and one of the Nintendo franchises to have Arcade Games and it holds alot of history with the company especially with Mike Tyson legacy having a big impact on the feanchise aswell. The idea that Kazuya is getting cut because "they won't replace him with Ryu" is extremely short sighted. Kazuya doesn't need to replace Ryu, his IP is as big as SF, if not more so both Ryu and Kazuya are staying. If anything Kazuya's far more likely to stay than Pac-Man as Kazuya has a more unique moveset + is from a far more relevant and successful IP from Bamco

• Personally I don’t want to cut down the roster because I still think Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is special to bring everyone in this game & everyone seems to enjoy them all the same. But I do imagine a new Smash Bros. game could still be special and great to expand more playable characters from their beloved franchises. That would be so cool in my own opinion. So Well Done.
