I know right, it was so weird to watch him tear a mustang done to nothing without all of the bracing that other people do, he's really on another level and probably better than the factory

Fast work at taking this apart, my guess for the scrap items is 575. No rear axle.. I’m working on my 67 Fastback, can I ask you for measurements? I have it on a lift, no floor, firewall or cowl. Ready to go back with the new parts, you have taught me that I should measure before welding. Luckily this car has been inside for thirty years, rest of the quarters, doors, fenders are in great shape. Happy New Year to you and Family...

OP, you are making good karma for yourself by "rebirthing" these old fastback mustangs. Think of how many happy future owners will be made possible by your work. My old 1965 red mustang is just a coupe but my 2007 and 2014 models are "somewhat" styled like the early fastbacks. Would not mind buying a 1967 model but would want one complete with engine and transmission and interior done. I respect the way your rebuild them and treat all the metal and don't just throw them together without proper rust treatment.

Secret? Know the car, where to cut and not to cut. Organized and clean. Space to work. Proper tools. Experience and focus. Dedication. Relentless work ethic. He has a niche and has mastered it. Can’t do it you say? Sure you can. Skip any of the secret steps and you will fail every time.

You don't take too much crap from a rusty scrap body-shell now do you. But I do realize how much experience it must take to gut what is not needed and preserve what will still be useful. Did something similar to a Studebaker Hawk GT back in the '70's - no replacement panels available so we removed one panel at a time - fabricated the new one from scratch and put it in. Then moved to the next panel, rinse and repeat. But the end result was something to behold. Keep it up and the videos uploading.
