For second-generation models On the side of your device, you should see a microphone on/off switch. First, flip that to the off position. The LED lights on the top of your speaker should pulse orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, right where those lights are located. You’ll hear a chime once the reset is complete.

For the people who have a Google Nest Mini 2nd Gen, there is no button. Here is the instructions to Factory reset: On the side of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

Man, you were missing the best part, pressing the reset button is not the problem, the issue is how to set it up once the device has been reset. I have the Google home app and for some reason my app says my google mini has been set up, but the device says otherwise. What is going on? could you add the home app setup to your video? or link another video to do that? Thx.

I have reset my Google Home device and still can not get 2 bulbs to be recognized. My first two work fine, but the other two just disappeared and I can not get them to show up, in spite or resetting the bulbs and Home Mini many times. Any ideas?
