I was checking on the 2025 special for Samsung users then I remembered this was the company software I put on my PC early last year. One of the features was to protect against pop-up ad's but the annoying pop-ups came from them. They were unsuccessful in helping resolve the issue and I finally had to Google how to completely delete All of their software...including hidden software. Lord knows I'm not about to put this nightmare my phone for $2.00.

TOTALAV IS SUPER BAD. Not stop ads pop up to go premium everytime you open your pc.

Looks like I can only get the discount that is already provided by the website for $100 off. I cannot apply any other discounts..

Never heard of them! They keep trying to charge my debit card! I keep changing cards! I’ll see my banker this week and let them investigate. 😣

I found that Total AV uses far too much of my cpu resourses when scanning. Makes my pc very noisy.

How do I switch from LastPass to TotalAV. I want to get rid of LastPass. I just don't know the steps to transfer and then eliminate LastPass. Thanks!
@minlei4 ай бұрын
If your looking to replace LastPass then TotalAV is not the right choice. I would recommend looking into 1Password, Dashlane, or ProtonPass instead. To transfer your data there is an export option in most password managers which exports your data as a CSV File then you just need to click import data on your new password manager and select the CSV file. When your passwords are successfully imported make sure to delete the CSV file.

DONT DO IT and if you do...make sure you use a card with a very low limit. I'm sure you will have to see for yourself

Great somebody mentioned it. I read of several people being charged obscene amounts of money on their Paypal account, card. They also use aggressive offers and bombard you with ads to make you pay, and the free software is only a 7 day trail. Stay away people.

@@souI_ice2 he means people will be charged on the card, I read they charge people automatically I think I read someone got charged 3000 dollars, but tha person dint even have tha much on the card. I read it on reddit on a subreddit called Antivirus. They also use dirty tricks to make eyou buy their stuff, like reusing price until you pay on their website. The free version isn't free, it's 7 day trail. Britec did a great vid on it. When you call them it's a call centre I India, they told a reddit user he or had had two accounts thus double charge. But he or she didn't. This company has to get shut down, it seems to be true, so the have to be investigated, shut down.

@@PowerOfOne-u4h I guess if if they send out a bill, and the card owner set up auto payment with silly high limit, so this allows the card to be charged. So that's what Dave is referring to, having a low limit so if someone tries to charge your card they can't. But if it's an annual payment that renews and they suddenly change the price for you to sky high price. I don't know if that's what they do. I won't experiment with this. But what I see read is making this company seem fishy. On trust pilot I read from a Swedish user, they got billed monthly 1200 Swedish it increased to crowns then 2500, that's crazy payment. That's more like two year subscription of Norton or something. But the support person hints at ordering other stuff from them. I see multiple complaints about being charged monthly higher amounts, and more than what the yearly payment was meant to be. A user tried to cancel according to the guide, but they got error messages and deals instead. Support was not helpful, were gonna send a lin that never came. Another user they kept bombarding with calls. A Norwegian user's 82 old father was scammed by them, charged despite using McAfee. They told them to log in, bu he couldn't as he didn't even know if he had an account.Another user blocked the card, so he was not charged on renewal date, so he opened the card, but got charged anyways.

The yseem to have deleted my comment. Total AV is a scam. The will charge your card. Even after cancelling the subscription. People had to get the bank to block them. @@souI_ice2

IMHO even Nortons is a fail. Is there anyone that can be trusted?

It has some false positives, it detects some games as trojans. despite being legit games no viruses. The VPN cuts my phone off from the WIFI. But I tried the app so can use VPN there separately when off on my pc at least. Zamena: lots of false positives and can't be ran onn Windows 11 with integrity turned onn in the security settings. AVG: had issues with Lightroom, Firefox slowing down to almost unusable level, it was unbearable. and i got a i9 11900K. AVG pushes the cleaning tool after scan, so does Norton, despite not being a trail. annoying. But it turns off messages when gaming.
