Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 1080P 1440P 4K 8K Tested RTX 4090 i9 13900KF DLSS 3.5 Ultra Max Settings HDR

Just a quick short little video testing all sorts of different video resolutions Cyberpunk 2077 at max ultra settings, Ray Path Tracing, & Ray Reconstruction on my Asus Strix RTX 4090 and i9 13900KF CPU. I had a few requests in my previous videos to mention FPS at lower resolutions, so I decided to a make a quick short to the point video running through them all very quickly.
And just so everyone understands, when you run frame generation at 8K resolution, the 4090 runs out VRAM, and runs literally at like 0.5 FPS if that, so that is why I didn't run it with FG, it is totally unplayable.

hi lou again. i updated from 12900k to 13900k and ddr5. Performance almost doubled :) It was worth it

What fps do you get in 4k with frame generation on? I'm getting 90 to 100 but I only have ddr4 ram and only. Cpu is 13900ks and 4090

Usually, around 85-95 FPS In Dog Town, and sometimes a little over 100-115 FPS in the Night City with frame generation and all other settings maxxed in 4K.

With a 4090, using ddr4 is a bottleneck.

I know, that everyone, especially you, will hate me for saying this, but thanks for testing 1080p as well hahahah, also 40fps for 8K is not bad, it's playable and also 50fps in 4K is pretty good, considering it's maxed out with full RT, even though it's overclocked, but still that's really good imho

No, I won't hate anyone for having to do 1080P videos, but I know a few select people like to see, quite a significant jump in CPU usage though, I think it went to like 150 watts at a few points.

@Robross888 Well, yeah, 1080P ingame is generally going to look blurrrier compared to viewing this video in HD when it was originally a much higher resolution.

Apparently, Nvidia will be ditching native resolution gaming. If this is the case, then I hate to say it, but they will have no reason to upgrade the hardware of GPUs then. The current gen midrange GPUs is a prime example of this. GPUs such as the 4060 Ti, 4070, 7700 XT, and 7800 XT are a very minor hardware upgrade over their predecessors and have even had some downgrades in some specs. They use software technologies such as upscaling and Frame Gen as the main selling point to justify cutting corners on the actual hardware of GPUs. It's getting absolutely pathetic now.

@wiztaylor3570 So do I. When I pay for a GPU, I expect real performance from it. A lot of gamers, myself, included pay for the hardware of the GPU. That's the first priority. Features such as DLSS, FSR, and Frame Gen can be considered after.

By doing that, you are telling companies it's OK to charge insultingly high prices for a GPU with an already high price. I can buy a 4090. I don't choose to pay scalper pricing like deranged fanboys such as you.
