When sparing her it's clear that not even Reed is 100% sure of the fact that he's done the right thing. When you start confronting him he starts looking at the ground, doesn't keep eye contact for more than a mere moment, "As long she's a live there's hope" he says while looking anywhere that isn't directly at you. He can't even believe himself while saying that, but he won't actually admit it, not to himself, not to you. Well written and amazingly portrayed, I was just as conflicted.

During the ending that follows it, there are several chances to have V ask various characters "Do you think we made the right choice....?" or "Do you think we did the best we could have...?" The answer differs, but in reality, any defenses of the actions you've undertaken by that point come back feeling hollow...

Reed regrets any decision V takes, but it seems he's more satisfied if we fulfill Somi's wish. Later he thanks V for it because he would not be capable in doing the same. Whatever is left from Somi as human is trapped, her memories couldn't be saved, and Reed said she will become active again as agent. She's gonna just turn into a puppet under Myer's command most likely without any feelings or humanity, like a machine. Like she said herself, it is indeed a destiny worse than death.

I have never witnessed anything more terrifying than the Cerberus. A big ass machine controlled by an evil AI crawling around in the facility's vent trying to kill you. The Chimera fight was unique and fun but the Cerberus "fight" ... that was just pure fucking terror. Well done CDPR. Cyberpunk started rough but the encore was on fucking point!

love the little details in this path. for one her cute girl avatar starts randomly thanking you the moment the icebreaker completes arming in your vision. Attempt at appealing to your compassion and also the avatar never appears again from this point going forward in both paths. As she has no need of enticing you with her idealized version. Second off she immediately knows you are uploading the icebreaker. What the tech gurus failed to account for is that she sees what you see due to the relic bond you share. Also she really does not trust you and is keeping quietly an eye on what you are doing through the relic backdoor. Finally when she says she can handle the one downstairs she attempts to use the blackwall protocol on you but what she fails to notice is the icebreaker recalculating and finishing its attack. It breaks her concentration and throws her out of the loop as she now thinks she cant use the blackwall on you since it somehow reflects back on her as she missed the icebreaker trick. That is why she fries the two guards no problem but stops short of killing V, shambling off instead. Her real mentality is exposed in the other path too as after the stadium she immediately separates from you trying to dump you, only contacting you when she is stonewalled again at the spaceport. Also its very telling that out of the new character set Reed is the only one who ever has post credit holocall sequences in different outcomes. Its meant for characters that really cared for V on a deep personal level, once again showing that even when helping her out she really was out to just use V, even if it was with a big burden of regret and guilt.

The way that Reed acts in these scenes make choosing to shoot him to get her to the Moon a much easier choice. He really believes that there was a way for everyone to get what they wanted, but was willing to compromise everyone else for the NUSA

But to counter your point, Reed recruited her to a life she didnt want, and myers made her do things she didnt want to, basically everything she's done wrong was forced on her and they were looking for their interests not hers and thats where her selfishness came from, she says she petrayed them for herself but she didnt really had herself in the first place, in a sense, they were like a prison to her with a love/hate relationship situation. So what she was doing was her lasts chance to get out of that cycle and really do one last thing for herself that really is for herself. what she planned was to get V to save Myers, Get the Tech from Kurt to save herself and dip, but thats way too good to be true and Myers didnt want to loose her weapon and also her position as president and Reed stuberness with his NUSA bond and thinking he was helping a friend while in himself he knew she didnt want to be part of any of it anymore and here we are, for her it was either get cured or die , thats her only options, Reed wanted to save her in a way that only suits him, Myers had secrets she wanted to keep and V wanted the cure but bonded with her, basically all three of them fucked up her plans with the exception that V was the key to it all and she couldnt do without her.

she is a extremely conflicting character. She did turn on Reed yet it was Reed who offered him the deal gang pressing her to service. She did blow off her friends, like her boyfriend, but she also accepted the FIA deal because they were making threats at her friends. She did down SF1 yet it was her who recruited V to extract Myers or any survivors out. She did lure V In with the cure yet it was her who unlocked the Relics hidden upgrades and the immense power multiplier it hid. She did string V along with the cure yet it was her who confessed to the reality at the very last second when she was completely defenseless and at his mercy. She did form a perma connection to the blackwall in cynosore yet it was her who stopped the murderbot from finishing V off and allowing him to reach her. Finally in the obfuscated lore it was her who set Reed up in the train yet it was her who called the trauma team on him to save his life. Her sign should be gemini, not capricorn

Yes it's possible, as long as Songbird gets to FIA alive, the NUSA will honor her deal with you. Also pretty sure that cyberpunk only endings, 7 if you play your cards right in Phantom Liberty. 1. The Devil, 2. The Sun, 3. the Star, 4. Temperance, 5. Path of Least Resistance, 6. the Secret Ending, and Phantom Liberties "the Tower" ending makes 7. Although technically, Phantom Liberty itself has either 2 or 4 endings itself, depending on how you look at things.

The Basic game itsefl has 3 ends which split in two. 1 end when u shoot yourself and one secret doint it all alone. If u die doing it, game ends, when u finish it, it splits in two Its like 10 ends but 3 ends Are the same so Its basicaly 7 ends. PL has two ends which also split in two

Tried looking around to find out all the possible outcomes for Solomon Reed in all the endings... As I genuinely like him as a character wanted some kind of continuation of his story. I got the help Reed and kill Songbird ending. From the convo he has it sounds an awful lot like Reed could leave the FIA and just go his own path. Even jokes becoming a Merc like Morgan Blackhand as an option. Something that I’ve found interesting. From what I could find seems this ending for him is rather unknown as I don’t think we have any future interactions later in the game after the basketball court. Saw there was an ending call he gives where he says he’s in Dayton. Which sounded like he was traveling so I think that’s the call for this particular ending I got. With that in mind, I decided to keep him around. As I genuinely saw no reason for him and V to just ghost and never speak again. They’d gone through a lot together and lost a lot of close friends. Particularly me since I had a custom character named Orion who was helping V in the background. He was a Netrunner who was helping V when they broke into the Black Sapphire. Everything was going smooth until Orion had intercepted some Transmissions and uncovered something big. Song would find out about him and alert Hanson at the Party about it as Orion risked her plans particularly. To which Hansen Swiftly sent a kill squad on him in which Orion was killed off. I used Hanson letting V and Reed leave the Sapphire as part of the justification. Cause that way Hanson could basically be pulling a power move saying “I’m letting you go but that doesn’t mean unpunished”. Also added more depth to the V vs Hanson fight then just Alex alone which I liked. But yeah, after everything and if Reed truly left the FIA. I just don’t see why him and V couldn’t stay in contact. So I’m making it where Reed does take V’s offer to work as a Merc in the Afterlife at least for a little while. This will give him time to heal from songbirds loss and enable some more time between him and V. Near the end of the game, I’ll have Reed decide to leave NC to travel for a bit in order to find himself. I liked this ending as it gives Reed a chance to start over and outside the FIA. Despite losing so many friends along the way. He and V can bond over their shared grief and despite it. Live on with their memories in mind.

I’m gonna say the one where you send her to the Moon is the best. So Mi lives and might actually get free, while finally not having someone break her trust even if she broke theirs. V goes onto become a Legend and potentially leave Night City with the Aldacados to try and find a cure. Reed dies for a final time, a man of unshakable principle and so stubborn that even as he sees So Mi dying and knowing the type of person Myers is he is willing to hand her So Mi. Post 2 year time Skip if you hand So Mi over and get cured: Reed admits that So Mi has effectively become a emotionless and personality-less tool for the NUSA and their Blackwell experiments, and they’ve taken away his access to her. V is completely unable to use any cyber ware, or enhancements. V has also lost all friends but Vic and Misty (who leaves Night City). By choosing to live your wannabe legend has unintentionally chosen to live as Mr. Nobody.
