That is my kind of tent!!! Probably has a decent pad in it too. Maybe some solar on that and have a solar battery pack manage things rather than a 12V battery with charger to power the lights and whatever. Maybe even feed the truck a bit. I wondered what happened to those side boards. Glad to hear they are going into production.

Slots are probably laser cut. No burrs. Also, there are so many different slot shapes, a stamping die would be prohibitively expensive in a relatively low volume product. I’m going to watch his channel. I also recommend AB Camping in New Zealand.

You can buy a Rivian and be able to reachover the side of the bed to get gear in and out, and be able too see out the rear while not having your front view totally obscured by the A pillar, have functional windshield wipers, controls that make logical sense. Tesla is a great company but CT is functionally a mess

⁠@@hankkingsley9183 Yes, being 5 ft. tall must at times be very difficult. Use the tailgate and a step if height challenged. Or, ever heard of side steps and running boards. Pickup trucks have tailgates for loading all items. Long, heavy or small and light. What items are short people loading from the sides of a high truck that makes it difficult for them? A duffle bag with some stuffed animals? A couple of basketballs? A fishing rod or tennis racket?
