Great relaxing Sunday morning video. It is amazing all of those large rocks and boulders strewn all about from volcanoes and earthquakes dating back millions of years ago. Nice job guys. Hope you're doing well and Petra is feeling better.

Good Morning Garry and as always we truly appreciate your support and for following along! Happy you enjoyed the video! Yeah we are always blown away by the size of these rocks in the middle of nowhere! Same thing when we cycled Finnish Lapland back in 2014. Out of nowhere there would be this massive boulder the size of a house and we were like, where did this come from? Amazing. We just figured it was the Trolls that put them there! 😳😜 Take care and happy cycling! ~Ron & Petra

This is one of my bucket rides. It's great to watch it in the hope that one day I'll be there. I'm planning to ride from Canada to Mexico in June so who knows? Mabe I'll just keep going!!

Hey there JP (aka Biking360)! Thank you for stopping by and checking on us. Much appreciated! Heck yeah if you have the time go for it. So what route are you thinking of doing from Canada to Mexico? Cheers from Mexico! ~Ron
@Biking3602 жыл бұрын
@@PedalPowerTouring I've no idea about the route as I only decided to go two days ago!! I know I want to include riding a good section of the Pacific Highway and that I will need to complete it in three months, for visa reasons, but that's all I've got atm.
@PedalPowerTouring2 жыл бұрын
@@Biking360 sounds great. Yeah 3 months is plenty of time to cycle the Pacific Coast Highway. There are some nice sections, but there is also a ton of traffic. It'll be interesting to get your take on it. Until then happy adventures over there in Thailand. ~Ron
@Biking3602 жыл бұрын
@@PedalPowerTouring The traffic does put me off so I'm thinking of doing a reduced section on the Pacific Highway (for the experience and bragging rights!). For the rest of the trip, I'm thinking of going inland. It's all in the very early planning stages. Hope your trip is going well and your hard drive issues are behind you now. JP.

haha thank you Kathy! Behind the scenes we are actually driving in our car! LOL just kidding of course. Yeah it can be hard at times and we have learned that we are not quite as young as we were during our first world trip and it takes a little more effort and time to recover at times. Thank you again for following along and for sharing our videos. Truly appreciate your support. Your friends somewhere in Mexico, Ron & Petra

This video was a lot of fun for me as I did the same route in March 2022. I slept on the exact spot on the floor at Cow Patty’s, in the same palapa on the beach at Gonzaga, and behind the same western-themed restaurant where 5 and 1 merge. Like you, I was blown away by the incredible scenery, the nicely paved highway, and the friendliness of truckers and other drivers. Buen caminos amigos!

thank you for checking us out Thomas. Baja was a good time and yes we can't say enough good words about the drivers there. We had no issues, but then again we were also very respectful and got off the road when possible as to not slow them down too much. Good times for sure. Take care and buen camino to you. ~Ron y Petra

Highway 1 looks very nice and looks like not much traffic either. Stay safe!
@PedalPowerTouring2 жыл бұрын
Hey there Thomas! Thanks for checking in with us. Yeah Highway 1 turns out really isn't that bad from this intersection and south. However, talking to the good folks that drive it, you would think it's like Hell Highway or something! We did meet a couple cyclists down the road that stayed on Highway One leaving Ensenada instead of crossing over to Highway 5 like we did and they wished they crossed over. The section from Ensenada south for several miles is supposedly real bad with traffic. Anyway take care and happy cycling back in Florida. We see you put out a few new videos and we'll try to catch up. Until cheers from Mexico. ~Ron & Petra

Thank you very much Ted for following along and for your wonderful comments! Always appreciated! Yeah the desert 🌵 is truly amazing and I spent some time in a few different deserts and they each have something unique to offer! Some Old Guy said: “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things (I think he meant women) cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” While a cruise doesn't count as "Travel", your Alaska to Argentina adventure get double Travel credit. I'm vegetating in solitary for a couple more days so I can test neg and get on a plane. I'll make use of some of that obnoxious wind at my next little corner of the earth.
