The border with North Korea is often referred to as the most dangerous border in the world. I myself live in Seoul, less than an hour's drive from this border. The border is called the DMZ, the Demilitarized Zone. Despite the short distance to this border, the border is quickly forgotten in everyday life and North Korea feels very far away. Yet it regularly happens that through 'small' incidents we are reminded of the reality of the situation around this border. The border is in fact a buffer zone between two Koreas that are technically still at war, only a ceasefire has been signed. The border is often on the news and then they show the blue houses at Panmunjon, this is the only place where tourists can take a look in side the DMZ, but what does the border really look like as a whole? What else is there except for the blue barracks in Panmunjon? I find out and cycle from west to east along the entire DMZ and visualize what reality is really like in the border area.Enjoy my first every mini documentary!
