He got a £50 ticket for going the wrong side of the keep left sign, and a further £90 ticket for public order for hitting me with his car. He got off very lightly - the doctor from the other viral clip got 4 penalty points on his licence and a massive fine.
licensing@newsflare.com for use by media. No injuries to me thankfully, a dent in his bonnet, a ticket for the driving, a ticket for public order, and a priceless piece of instant karma. Bad driving like this is a huge risk to cyclists in Regents Park - a van driver knocked a cyclist off doing exactly what this driver did recently.

@@RS-xq6jeI understand why Mikey is doing this. I’ve watched hundreds of his videos of people thinking this junction is free game. It’ll end up the death of someone. The problem is, if this junction (Gandalf corner in case you were wondering) was policed, the public would moan. If there was a traffic camera installed, the public would moan. Yet, add in several casualties at this junction and the public wouldn’t batter an eye lid. But the public would still moan that this junction is policed as it inconveniences their day by 5-10 minutes. Yet they couldn’t leave their homes 5-10 minutes earlier to beat the traffic. He (Mikey) catches double figures every day that he policies this corner himself. Often those he does catch, not only traverse the junction illegally but they’re often on their fucking phones. It’s the entitled ‘you can’t do a thing mate’ or ‘it’s none of your business’ generation that need punishing. A fine won’t cut it. Revoking their licence for a year or two may just allow them to question their life choices and attitude.

I know your comment is a year old, but beeping at learners struck a cord. When I learned to drive a stick shift, I literally did it on the way home from the dealer. My dad was following in his car, while I "Soloed" for the first time. At a red light, I kept stalling out when I tried to get into first. I was a nervous wreck because this guy got between me and dad, and got right on my tail. Then he kept blowing his horn. My dad go out of his car and went right up to the other driver's car and OPENED HIS DOOR!! My dad has always been fit...And BIG! The guy looked like he tried to swallow a pineapple when my dad yelled at him! I got it in gear and made it home right up the street. My dad arrived a few minutes later and told me I did great! @WETiLAMBY

ok but £1,000 is the MAXIMUM fine, just like hitting a person with your car is also a maximum of £5,000 and a lot of jail time. If you didn't bend the truth you'd be able to tell that if you compare the 2 maximums you'd see that human life costs more. More often than not, a TV license fine is nowhere near £1000, you'd be unlucky if it was even 5% of that number

"There's traffic over there, you can't expect me to wait in it. I've got to go to work." This seems to be his entire rationale for driving on the wrong side of the road. So special, so important, the rules don't apply to him. He should have his license revoked for deliberately hitting someone with his car. Just because it didn't hurt you shouldn't matter because it COULD have and he drove into you multiple times!

@@RandomShart I am an ex London commuter now living in Holland. In England I lived in Erith and commuted by motorcycle to Central London. The journey took circa 30-40 minutes. Door to door by train was circa 1.5 hours and involved half hour walking to avoid the Underground and 15 minutes from the rail station to home! Here - same time to Amsterdam by bike. Public transport - 1.5 hours if the bus/train connection works out - otherwise it's 2 hours. Really no contest.

Well... don’t be an ass and endanger others just for your own benefit. Driving on the wrong side of the road on a corner you can’t look around? How stupid can someone be. If you guys would have paid attention it’s happening there pretty often... so nothing wrong with letting people pay for their misbehaving. Nobody is forced to be unlawful! We as a society decided to make the rules, so if you’re somebody wanting to be a part of it you have to follow those rules. If not? You have to at least be punished for not following the rule.
