How do you like it so far. Thinking about buying it.

It's a good kit but I had an issue with 2 bushings, Alto brand. One was pretty much falling into place and one was to tight and got ruined so I had to get oe ones. The other issue is if you have a 4l65e, 3rd most likely has 7 clutch plates that are thinner and the kit comes with 6 that are thicker and you end up with more play between them so I ordered 7 high energy plates to keep original gap or play. Other than that it's good. I didn't mess with the pump parts though. I just bought a rebuilt pump with an upgraded boost valve for $130.

Has this held up through some power🧐 I just bought one and did some more mods hoping to withstand 500 whp every once in awhile

Well I can't attest to using it for 500hp but it's still going strong with no problems. Think I have about 5k on it since I rebuilt it. I think factory hp is 327 and I have a Diablo tune in it. I also have upgraded parts like the sunshell which I guess the basket likes to snap off the spline and upgraded pump. No slipping or anything. H2 doesn't have much low end power but when I stomp on it at 65 and it downshifts to 2nd, it hits 80 pretty fast and upshifts at 6k

Also, I guess I could've used their clutch plates for 3rd but I didn't have an assortment of various steel plates to take up the excess play which is why I ended up ordering factory high energy plates of the original thickness so I could reuse my steels even though they said to replace them. I used a wire wheel on a drill and a little sand paper to get the burning off them then checked to see if they were warped. Looked okay so I figured good to go. So far so good. It was a piston seal that let go causing me to lose 3rd so even though it burnt the plates, it wasn't excessive because it happened so fast.
