👍 👍 Yes Time Wave and The Legend along with Monochrome are among my favorites of the new releases. They are currently on the European leg of their world tour and I have seen LIVE Pro Shot videos of their recent concerts in Tokyo and Yokohama and have seen fan cam videos of their concerts in Leeds (UK) and Wembley Arena (London). They are amazing. The reviews of these concerts have been great and I am looking forward to seeinG LIVE Pro Shot videos of the other songs from the concertos as well. Until next time.

I'm was totally into Time Wave right of the bat after listening the snippets. They mention the god of motion, maybe that's Godfrey in this story, the friend of god. OTFGK. Just like you, I can't stop moving when I'm hearing this. Believing is another song composed by YuppeMetal, and once again he's not letting down anyone. A mash up between past and present BM, yep it got recording from five years ago. THE LEGEND close this album perfectly and with that sax touch is even more personal and intimate. A couple of days ago they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour, first at Leeds, then London and yesterday was Cardiff, tomorrow is Glasgow turn finishing the UK leg, everyone is having a blast with these, so far all the sets were different and yesterday they surprised everyone with the dance choreo for METAL KINGDOM in the middle of the set. Time Wave is a straight up club banger. The more I listen to it the more I like it.

BABYMETAL makes the simplest things bring tears to my eyes. This time it was the whispered "feel it" in Time Wave, even though I knew it was coming. No idea why. In The Legend it was the sax solo that got me, and the first time I realized that at the end they are singing "we are The Legend". I have yet to listen to Time Wave and Believing on headphones, I bet they benefit a lot from that.

The Legend sounds like if Su was singing a lullaby, well until the band comes in.(technically Sax is woodwind because they use a reed, one of the few things I remembered from music class at school lol)

I remember, back in 2019 when "Metal Galaxy" came out, some critic stated: "BABYMETAL, by now, are like an unsinkable battleship!". What are they now? And more important: What comes next? I, honestly, have no freaking clue, but I'm really sure I will like it!

Babymetal isn't unsinkable, as long as they don't lose their creativity and keep getting new ideas they will do well. Because Babymetal kind of needs to be original/surprise us.

Mixing different genres of music is not uncommon in Japan. However, BABYMETAL's great achievement is that they started the very conservative genre of metal, mixed it, and sold it to the world.

Great reactions - so sorry I missed the live stream ... still recovering after the concert on Saturday (they were great of course, loved it) and I overslept. I was not optimistic about 'Time Wave' when I heard the snippets they were releasing in advance, it just isn't the sort of music or style that I like, or so I thought ... the snippets lied to me, I love it - and it isn't my sort of style, how do BABYMETAL do that to me? 'Believing', I think, carries a message to the fans about change, things not being the same ... and this album is the bridge between the old and the new BABYMETAL (Koba has said they are not counting it as the 4th studio album but as this sort of project between 3rd and 4th ... or it was something like that). 'The Legend' ... yes sort of 'The One' or Trilogy of Lights vibes - and I think the sax solo caught us all off guard.🎷🎷

I love this album so much.... Back in the day when I first heard From Dusk Till Dawn, I was hoping and searching for music with that combo of metal, ethereal, dubstep, electronic vibe..... THIS album has pretty much everything I'm looking for.... Metalizm, Time Wave, Believing are my faves so far..... And as for the lyrics of Believing, I love the lyrics to this song....I think its a message to all the fans out there that with this new concept album, Seasons Change, We are not the same. Don't get me wrong, I loved their old albums, but this album is spectacular in its sound and just stepping out from (mostly the fan's) comfort zone. I can almost get it why they call it a concept album instead of just listing it as another regular babymetal album. It's a way to ease the fanbase to the possibility of newer and radically different stuff, without really alienating too many of them... You can see a few comments in reactors comment section that says they're not really into this new album because it lacks the kawaii elements they are used to....I still love this album, been listening to it since it dropped. 🤘🦊🤘

I can agree, being that I love metal, some dub but also dark ethereal sounds myself , this fit perfect for me too! Yes I love the BM I heard before, but i LOVE the music coming out now! 🙂

Same here. This album is tied with Metal Resistance as my favorite. From Dusk Till Dawn was my favorite song on Metal Resistance. This album has a similar feel to FDTD. Anyway I love it!

Too bad that work prevented me from being there live. :( I was so curious how you would react to the 3 songs. And yes, that's more or less what I expected. :) As you wrote in your comment, the experiments they tried with all these songs from this album just work. And the album as a whole is a lot of fun to listen to. I think they very well continued the step they have already taken with the Trilogy of Light, to make more mature songs. The Legend is a really cool closer and belongs for me next to Monochrome and Mirror Mirror to my personal favorites of this album. As always, it was fun to follow your journey (even if not live). 38:12 actually, I think it went the other way: a song which has this kind of melody/flow, a sax would fit really well, others have done it before with similar music, so why not ? Pink Floyd has at least 4 songs with sax.

I love all the songs on this album (top 2 favorites being 'Monochrome" and 'Light and Darkness") but I think "Time Wave" is seriously underrated. Also "Metalizm" kicks you in the head and Maya kicks your ass! 🤘🦊🤘

I used to be a little meh about Time Wave but that song gets better and better every time I hear it. I do not like heavily processed vocals like we hear in Believing yet that is my favorite song off the album. Somehow they turn even what I dislike into a masterpiece. I agree with the comparisons of The Legend with The One and Shine but you should check out Babymetal's cover of Tsubasa Wo Kudasai and see if you feel a connection there as well.
