There was chucking at Craig and Sara's not so little ukulele festival and I thought... I need to learn this! You were so cute on there, btw! Anyway, that day I started with the Lion Sleeps Tonight and then quickly found this one. DANG! It is tricky. After almost a week I can very reliably do the chucking strum at .5X normal speed and with only a few flubs .75X normal speed. "Normal" speed feels CRAZY and makes my arm tired. I can't wait 'til I'm there!

I love, Love, LOVE your teaching style! I played ukulele as a child - my 3rd grade teacher taught the class and it was so much fun! Then my husband got me a ukulele for Christmas. I’m almost 50 years old and I still can play “Ain’t She Sweet” from muscle memory! Of course I want to play much more than that one song so I searched KZbin and found a few online instructors. You are my favorite!! I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you SO very much! Also, I think the song “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer would sound great on uke!

Wow Cynthia! You sound so good! I can not stop playing this over and over. I’m gonna try to learn this song. You are such an inspiration to me. I would have never thought I could play any instrument. But, following your lead, I am jammin on the Uku! You have enriched my life Cynthia. God bless you and thank you so much for bringing me along into your beautiful Uku and ‘ALOHA’ world.

I’m still working at it. Putting all the strums together, singing are difficult but the hardest is the variation island strum where after the ‘d- D..,’ I bring my strumming hand back up and down again without strumming to finish the ‘ u du”. I’ll get it, eventually🤠
