And the animatics completely up the anime feel, they did the same with that one Survive animatic when they animated Odysseus doing Captain Levi's signature spin move from AoT, or Neal Illustrator when they animated Zeus dropping a micro spirit bomb on Odysseus' ship for Thunder Bringer, and pretty all the insanity they animated for God Games (seriously Neal Illustrator's God Games Animatic is Goated, everyone should watch it.)

As beautiful as Not Sorry for Loving You is as a song, I still hate Calypso regardless. I understand the whole loneliness aspect and that she clearly didn’t have any good examples of relationships before she was dumped on her island, no amount of nuance will make me feel sympathy for her. Even in this song she puts the blame and onus on Odysseus, ‘I’m sorry my love was too much for you’ and then not even committing to a half-assed apology by immediately saying ‘I’m not sorry for loving you’. Bruh. I will say though that it’s great writing though. You could totally interpret Calypso as having a childlike infatuation with Odysseus, you could interpret her as manipulative with her using the words of his deceased loved ones in Love in Paradise (which she probably heard from Odysseus talking in his sleep), both interpretations fit with this song, especially when she goes on about being ‘angry and sad’ that Odysseus doesn’t reciprocate her feeling. You can take that as her having a tantrum or bring angry that her manipulations didn’t work.

I find it fitting that Poseidon is the one that made Ody fully embrace the monster.. sure all the gods and immortals had little hand in it.. Zeus might have pushed the first rock of the edge in the horse and the infant.. but Poseidon the father of monsters is the one that fully made and taught Odysseus how to become the beast he had been holding back and repressing. even Athena had a part in making him the monster he is now in someways by allowing Ares to know what would happen if her former pupil was returned home. I think an effective way of translating odysseus drowning is by lighting. If all the lights pointing at the stage are blue (and even have some type of watery effect) its understood that hes underwater. That being said yea for sure if this had to be taken to a stage, theatre or circus or otherwise, a lot would change simply to adapt it to the medium. It IS a concept album after all, the finished products (theatrical production, animated movie/show, videogame, etc) will most likely change a ton of what we have

He actually was with a producer with the first two sagas, but there was some problems with them to where he lost the official EPIC Twitter, Insta and Tiktok pages. He didn't get a dime from them, so he decided to redo the first two sagas and publish them individually. The fanbase has been so supportive of him since day one and he's been supporting his cast too!

what i personally think and want to happen is that, after the ithaca saga comes out jorge takes a break for a long time and the next time we hear from him he announces hes made his own movie studio and has hired all (if not majourity) of the artists he's comminsioned. its fully indie and hes able to make his vision come to life without any of the courprates getting involved :>
