People often assume many sequels/prequels mean a timeline which gets confusing and ends up in multiple timelines which don't connect... Saw is unbelievable at keeping it flowing considering the amount of flashbacks etc they have. It's absolutely crazy how well thought out it all is, no wonder it's probably my favourite series.

It's actually kind of sad because none of this was planned during saw 1 and it had a domino effect(each movie suddenly having an excuse to exist explained in that movie). John Kramer was born on September 3, 1953. Also, Logan still got into his game after returning from the war, in my opinion, somewhere in the summer of 2005, and at the same time the "10 years ago" is perfect. I noticed in the first Saw Movie that Lawrence's phone in the bathroom is set at September 10th, 2001 at 12 PM. While I do believe the time itself may be an error, I looked into the date a bit further. I also looked at the newspaper clipping with Seth Baxter's Murder in it. It was dated June 11th, but June 11th was also labeled Monday. The most recent Monday before this Saw Film was made was 2001. Therefore, Seth Baxter's Murder, the beginning of Hoffman's Apprenticeship, and the games with Paul, Other Mark, and Amanda took place in a matter of weeks, possibly just days. In 2001, not 2004.

What will always interest me the most is how, aside from the crazy life ending games, John was a stand-up guy. He just wanted to help people, building low income housing and wanting people to have good lives. It's crazy what traumatic experiences can do to a person.
@isabellavendel8838 Жыл бұрын
I'd also argue that, although he is certainly a twisted psycho, he has some good intentions with his traps, to rehabilitate people and make them value their lives higher, so that they can live better lives, which is why he insists his games always are winnable, he's not just punishing people for their mistakes. He just has an absolutely horrible, unfair way of doing it.

I said: "like an electric wire". The nurse laughed, actually asked the doctor but sadly it's not possible. On the way to the room, I told that nurse that I watch too many horror movies. Please note SAW X has a mid-credits scene that I recommend staying to watch as well. Unfortunately, the theater where I saw this was nearly empty. I only saw five other people in it. @CZsWorld I hate to break it to you because this is an amazing video, but, the original saw bathroom trap DOES NOT take place in 2004. It canonically takes place September 10 2001. In the First saw movie Dr Gordon opens the black box with 2 cigarettes and a flip phone in it. The flip phones date flashes for a split second and reads 9/10/2001.

Man do I miss the Saw atmosphere. Idk why but the early movies were the best for me, as a kid, and as teen, and heck as adult. They just had something special to them. Either way thank you outta the blue recommend video by yt lol And thank you CZsWorld❤

Dang, and as a huge Saw fan, I thought I meticulously broke down the series😂well done. I think that Castor Mandylor was the perfect choice as the main villian after John's death,(he was so good) my first thought was, "if anyone has the will to chew through his own foot to survive, it's Hoffman, dude is a total savage" I was rooting for him to escape & keep the work going, & I have two question, who is the two that helped Dr. Gordon jump Hoffman (my guess is either, Brad & Ryan, or Adam & Logan) & if Dr. Gordon will continue Jigsaw's work🤔🤷

The dude leftover from the first movie didn't die in that room. If you watch when they go into the bathroom in later movies the shackle is on the other leg. So this means someone either unshackled him and then put it back on on the other leg or it's someone else and wanted you to think that he died there.

I may have some solutions for some empty blanks you left in. 1. In the first game while Adam was kidnapped by Amanda, Gordon was kidnapped by Zepp. I believe that Zepp would've done it because he's poisoned and desperate for the antidote. 2. When Eric is left for dead, I believe it's Hoffman who saves him, for John would've probably been too weak from Eric's brutality to do it himself. 3. As for how Hoffman got tied up for Rigg's game, I suggest Art Blank was the one who put him in the chair, for I suppose the same reason why Zepp kidnapped Gordon(except instead of poison it was the spine piercer), and I couldn't really see Hoffman tying himself up. 4. You sorta solved this one, but I suppose the incorrect date on John's autopsy tag was because at the time, the crew probably didn't have a concrete plan as for what the date in the timeline would've been.

Fun fact, one of the cellphone's in Saw 1 shows the date to be 9/10/2001, so the following day won't be a fun one either for Dr. Gordon.
