I do too. I've always been fascinated with stuff like that and also stories Like Paradise Lost and actual narratives about individuals in the War Between Heaven and Hell. I've always attributed it to being raised super catholic, but I'm an atheist now and I still find it fascinating so who knows?

It's just annoying you can't watch one of these movies without watching all 500 of them, and catch every detail of every little story to understand what's going on. All these demons and forms, the names, the objects, the timelines, the people... too much to keep track of. I really don't need all that, give me a dude in a mask stabbing people at night. It's doesn't need to be this complicated, intertwined, connected, and involved with all the movies and back stories. These movies just fell victim to the Hollywood "sequel-itus" and got lost in the sauce. Admittedly even the Halloween movies did this too. As soon as movies start acknowledging the events of other movies is where I start to tap out unless there's a REAL GOOD reason for it.
@VaporeonEnjoyer1

Anything we would consider "demons" would be ancient, they are fallen angels that followed Lucifer's rebellion. And if you are dealing with a demon from an other religion's perspective, they would be equally ancient.

James Wan describes an interest in an expanding universe with such a confidence you can already tell he had ideas for new stories; that's why so many franchises end up making garbage, they don't actually have a vision they just made a cool first movie that did well financially so they're like WAIT WE CAN MAKE MORE MONEY! Someone like Wan seems to have a crystal clear perspective when it comes to the way any of his projects can grow. Amazing artist and filmmaker

About how La llorona could have gone to Los Angeles, that's easy: at the time of the Spanish Viceroyalty, that is when she would've live, California, Utah, Arisona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and part of Colorado and Wyoming were part of the "New Spain" territory so is not like La Llorona traveled from Mexico to USA, is that Los Angeles WERE Mexico when she was alive so... kind of makes sense that her curse can operate in all those states. In Supernatural they call them "Lady in White"
@melotone_ale

Yeah that’s why I didn’t question it at all. I just figured the woman who became la llorona lived in the part of Mexico that became California.

hey! italian here, just a note -- wicca finds its origins in the 1900s. so it wouldn't have offshoots in the 1400s. wicca's a practice built off a few things and combined practices, so it'd be more of the other way around.
@TheHarleqwin
@TheHarleqwin 2 ай бұрын
Right. There' ls nothing ancient about Wicca, it's a religion established in the modern era. IIRC one of the earliest iterations was Gardnerian Wicca, founded in the 1950's and noted for being misogynistic in its practices. People claiming Wicca is ancient in and of itself is like young Earth creationism in its lack of credibility.

wicked video, heres a brownie recipe :D 115g of melted butter 1/4 cup of cocoa powder 1/2 cup of plain/all purpose flour 1 cup/200g of caster/granulated/white sugar 2 eggs pinch of salt optionally chocolate (measure with your heart :D) add the cocoa powder to the melted butter and fully mix, it enhances the flavour. add the sugar and mix again until fully combined allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding the eggs and mix fully before adding the flour and salt. if you would like you can now add chocolate or wait and add it ontop. i use about 100g of it bake for 20 minutes at 180°C and allow to cool fully.

I like these timeline videos a lot. Putting it all together for the series is just wonderful. Thinking about it, other channels might not put this much effort in. Others might just compile the previous timeline videos into one, which doesn’t help much with overarching story, though it’s fine for Things You Missed. Zach goes through the effort of making a new video with all the details together. Thank you, we appreciate you.

Like with any experience in life, let’s say having an allergic reaction to freaking mangoes, you can say, “I don’t believe you.” But you can’t say “No you didn’t go through that.” Or else you’re just an A hole trying to narrate someone’s else’s life story, experiences, thoughts, and feelings. @enchantegance I mean the kids involved in the Amityville house have literally come out and stated that it was all a sham put on as a desperate attempt to keep afloat financially. That was one of the Warren's biggest cases. If that was faked every single one of these stories probably were as well. It's just logical thinking. I've also found the idea of "scientific" equipment used by investigators laugh worthy because how do you make a tool to hunt something before you've proved it's existence.

It's sad how Bathsheba wasn't even the entity possessing Caroline, according to her one Herron daughter that wrote a few books about the allegedly true events? She said that Lorraine made a mistake between Bathsheba and the female entity who was actually attacking her mom, but James Wan decided that a "demonic witch" named Bathsheba sounded more frightening. Poor Bathsheba's gravestone was being desecrated and the last I heard about it, is that it's been moved for safety reasons? Poor lady can't rest in peace.

I'm not gonna die on this hill by any means, but lot of unexplainable shit exists in this world, is it that much of a stretch to think they MIGHT be real? I don't believe in ghosts ghouls and goblins, but I also don't dismiss it

@ryancromer2110 I would LOVE to be proven wrong. It may sound weird but I Want some Jeepers Creepers shit to happen to me. And I like watching videos about that stuff, but i don't believe any of them are real. I do believe unexplainable stuff happens, but I don't believe it's because of ghosts or anything of the like. I don't believe in cryptids either, but there really isn't anything in us, soul or otherwise, that leaves us or can be stuck here when we pass. I just get tired of people who see something, and their first thought is something supernatural without even trying to figure it out, and people who just accept whatever they are told.

@@Welshman336 When I was young, my paternal grandather died. I never knew the guy so no great loss to me. One night, I woke up in the middle night because I heard footsteps from the room below me. Then I heard a deep man's voice calling out, "Da...da...da." I wasn't scared, I was annoyed at being woken up and just rolled back to sleep. In the morning, I told my mom what happened. She said that was the nickname my grandfather called her. There was no way I could have known that, no one ever calls my mom by a different name. Like I said earlier, I don't believe in ghosts, but I cannot explain that night.

I do kinda agree with the comments at the start… these videos are some of my favourites online but they are so populated with you sharing how much you don’t believe in demons or ghosts. That’s totally fine and I get that you have your own beliefs, but you can put these videos out from an unbiased point of view, and just give the history rather than sharing your disbelief. 🤷🏼‍♂️ just be respectful of other people, their beliefs and what they have encountered

CZ, an important thing to remember is: If it can be locked- it can be unlocked. There is no "safe" place from any human. If someone wants to get in, they can and will. Just be careful and stay vigilant and also, stay strapped or get clapped, have SOME means to defend yourself.

What people don’t understand is that when a movie claims to be based on a “true story” the truth only has to be a minor part of the story. Ed and Lorraine Warren were real people, this is true. Ed and Lorraine were paranormal investigators, this is true. The first conjuring movie was based on a real family, as was the “devil made me do it” movie Do you get where I am going with this? You don’t have to believe in the paranormal, but at least use your common sense. It’s baffling that not many people understand that when movies say “based on a true story” it’s not a biopic, it’s entertainment sprinkled with a bit of truth.
