I had a similar problem to many others where I couldn't get the bolt handle out. I had to use pliers (after wrapping the handle so I wouldn't scratch it).

Thank you for this video! One question: I noticed that the bolt handle wasn't as easy as depicted in this disassembly instruction. I was able to carefully use a hand towel and a pair of needle nosed plyers to remove it without damaging the gun. Reassembly required using a synthetic hammer for bolt handle insertion as well. Was there any defect / issues reported by either engineering or other on any of the 1012 models related to either bolt assembly or bolt handles?

Hey Pat, that issue can happen because the bolt handle is retained under tension. Any minor machining defect in that part of the bolt handle can cause it to be tough to take in and out. Over time this will get better. If it is an issue reach out to [e-mail] and our warranty staff can bring it in to take a look at it.

Hey pat! Just curious if your cz1012 will Hold 4 3” shells? I just purchased mine and after putting 3 3” shells into the magazine tube, the 4th shell stops with about a 1/2” of the brass head still sticking out of the tube. Thanks!

@@MisterReach It has a plug in it, after you take your cap off the magazine there is an absolute tiny plug that u pull out

@@Eli-rw1lk this is with the plug out. I contacted customer support and they told me that it will not hold 4 3” shells. Kinda bummed me out because they advertise it to hold 4+1

My bolt handle is not easy to take off. Making it difficult to even take out the bolt. Nothing in the CZ Manual explained this. Any suggestions?

There is a detent ball that retains the handle in the bolt. because of the tight fit with the handle sometimes there can be a small piece of debris or a high spot on the bolt handle that causes it to not come out of the bolt easily. If this problem persists, please send an email to "[e-mail]"

CZ, are there any plans to sell an interchangeable 18.5" barrel for the 1012? Then one can have a waterfowl shotgun and swap it out to use it for home defense.

Why is it that you press the bolt release with the barrel off, but in the manual it says in bold letters, quote "Do not push the bolt release button when the barrel s off!" on page 13

Can you do a disassembly on the but stock to change the drop spacer. As i am not seeing any screws on the cushion rubber at the back of the butt. Or can you share some light in doing so.

There are screw holes they are very small but you should be able to locate them by looking closely at the butt pad. We do this to avoid dirt and grime getting in there. They are a Philips head . For more information please reach out to our customer service staff at [e-mail]

How can I remove the magazine tube? Let a buddy borrow my 1012 and he dropped a rod in the magazine tube to “limit” how many shells it would hold and now I can’t get it out.

@@tylerJ949 they make a plug that drops in and sits under the barrel but. The guy that used mine just cut a piece of metal rod and dropped it in the hole.

Make sure the 2 round limiter is not installed, it can be removed at the end of the magazine tube beneath the cap

At this time the 1012 does not have the ability to add an extension tube.

Take off the end cap on the mag tube and in the center of it you’ll see a silver pin. Pull it out, it’s a 2 round limiter that comes pre-installed from the factory, used for hunting purposes.

Are there any known issues with the cz 1012. I have owned mine for a couple months and have shot 3-400 rounds with only a couple feeding issues with target loads. But I can not get any 3 in magnum loads to cycle.

Hmmm. I broke mine in with 3" shells. 30-40 of them. Maybe try that.
