This is his first drive and no he will probably only get another month before he goes home . He is a quote little rascal and just as kind as he is cute

I was ground training my Icelandic mare and she would stop and I’d give her but a little hug. Before I knew it she was only working for those hugs.

It likely was t the Higgs she was wanting but rather the power that she gained over you when you were giving the Huggs. Distance from the horse gives us the advantage and the closer we get to the horse the more the advantage goes to the horse . The one who moves the others feet is In control of the relationship
