D.I.Y All the Time! Frosted Pressed Flower Coasters

Hi everyone :)
Todays video is one that I have been eager to make for a while now, and I am glad I finally had time to make the DIY. It took a couple of hiccups, but I finally made my own set of Frosted Pressed Flower Coasters. As I mentioned in the video, I attempted to make my very own silicone molds from Pins I found on Pinterest, but I had no luck. If you'd like, I'd be glad to share those pins with you - just let me know if you are interested.

Would a top coat without sanding give it shine or using car wax? It's only not glass clear because the mould isn't shiny. They look good though.

this is soo lovely!!!! What cause the frosting? actually it is noice effect but I do not want it in my coasters as I will sell them!!! Also, your tweezer is metal , does resin affect it???

It's frosted because of the mould she used. If you use a shiny mould, it will come out shinny. If you use a matte mould, it will come out matte.

Heyyy! How about just leaving the first layer to cure overnight and thennn add the second layer the next day to prevent the flowers from moving and rising up? What do you think about this?

Hi @ljt 13, yes I absolutely agree with you on letting the first layer cure overnight. I highly recommend everyone follow-up that step. I just got excited and wanted to see the end result as soon as possible that I decided to just wait as little as possible and continue to the next step >.
