He's BEEN right about both Liberals and Conservatives. Malcolm also had the solution a long time ago which is ECONOMICS. BUY black, FOR black. Create your own instead of trying to force yourself into a house where you're unwanted and dependent on somebody else. No disrespect to Dr. King, but Malcolm was indeed the true visionary. There was a lot more to Malcolm X, than what they teach in public school. There's a reason they play up Dr. King's importance a lot more in the textbooks, meanwhile Malcolm gets the "Dr. King, but more extreme" label. To Dr. King's credit at least started expressing doubts about integration, before his death.

What exactly is the black agenda? The only person that fully endorsed the ‘black agenda’ is Bernie Sanders. Blacks did not vote for him in the south in 2020 or in 2016. We somehow still don’t understand that social justice is linked directly with economics. The media presented southern blacks as big mama church goer that will mindlessly fall in line and vote for status quo corporate dem Biden all bc he was BO VP although he opposed almost every progressive policy that was presented by Sanders and Warren. Apparently a white man that isn’t mean to us and panders a bit is enough to get our vote. Until we realize that the black agenda is in fact a progressive agenda then we get whatever tf they give us.

Never vote in a candidate that ignores your community from specific and tangible standpoint. The lesser of 2 evil voting we been doing for 60yrs (Breadcrumb Voting) and wonder why your community ends up with nothing but breadcrumb policies. The onus is on the candidate, not the voter- for your vote. Here's how u solve both of u guys outlook: Vote every time, city_state_federal_primary_general, only select the candidate(s) who have a history of standing on tangible and specific polices for the community you claim you love. Make every candidate earn your vote, if you gone ignore my community you don't need my vote to co-sign it. That way u not disenfranchising yourself (not voting), the onus on each candidate. You can leave any slot blank or write-in a name to back up this demand. Every other group uses this tactic. Voting is free, cost you $1 out your pocket, takes 1hr. out your yr. it don’t stop you from your career pursuits. Mention paying off candidates- keep in mind no matter how much $ they get, they still come around asking us(like churches, schools) for our vote. Well... we have the Right to make demands for that request. We have the power- if we exercise it n stop making it more complicated than it really is.

@KingTChalla694 жыл бұрын
jadius hackett My brotha YOU are miss informed, plus the analogy you used is all wrong. “Lack of participation” isn’t why we have Trump and Biden as our respective candidates, it’s lack of understanding politics. People in this country tend to vote on what they know, there’s a reason most ballots are left blank, because most people in this country don’t have a clue about politics, they don’t understand how the Primary’s work, Congress, or the Supreme Court, that lack of understanding is the reason why Biden won the Primaries! It’s not because more people didn’t show up dumb ass, even if those people showed up they’d vote just like the rest of the dummies who voted before them. Why do you think we keep electing shitty President’s? Clinton,Bush,Obama,Trump. We had record numbers for voting during the 2008 campaign and that didn’t get us anywhere! Obama still bailed out Wall Street and the Banks, kicked 5 million people out of their houses, continued the Wars overseas, deported more humans than any other President in history(including Trump). That’s what “Participation” gets you. Learn about Politics before calling someone an idiot, IDIOT. 🤦🏾♂️

The U.S. is a narcissistic, me focused society, therefore you don't conquer it by solely focusing on self. Divide and conquer is the reason many of us are even over here in the first place. The Nations (now considered ethnic groups) in the Continent that held off European aggression were the kingdoms or nations that banded together. Others partnered with Europeans in order to get rid of their "enemies" or rivals. Because its us and its them. Although we are more than 12% because the census inflates and deflates numbers based on a broad definition of "whiteness" and "hispanic/latin" in order to make the change we want to see on a national level we need each other. Regardless of if you use black, or brown, we all indigenous, with much of latin history showcasing an influence from the continent anyway. We have more in common than different. Wise up.

Offering people $1200 dollars for a one time payment that many still haven't received! Now opening up too early and cutting unemployment benefits while simultaneously opening up more risk and the purse for those who don't need another penny - and it is very insulting! The money only vanishes when working class people need it - all of a sudden it can't be done when it is their taxes being given back to the wealthy who don't want to pay a dime in taxes. When you give those who don't need it that kind of money not once but twice - including the trump tax cuts that gave 83% of those cuts to the wealthy and 17% to the rest of the population to squabble over - that comment doesn't hold ANY water and people are over it! It would have worked because businesses would have been sustained, jobs would have been sustained because the money went to employers to distribute to the employees which in turn went directly back into the economy and kept it from taking the blow that this failed approach had taken. The rich are getting richer. Period.

The other countries citizens don't have to pay anything back because the country is benefitting by saving lives and jobs at the same time. STEM, scout, sport, art, life skills, health, and extracurricular/after-school programs for Black American youth. Those are some of the things that we need. I'm normally of D.L. but his Biden assessment is way off. So just because Republicans lowered the bar, and and voted Trump in that means everyone else must race to the bottom and do the same? I see why people don't vote with this attitude. You would vote for someone who would "pretend" to give a damn? Really? Charlamagne is on point again.
