This post may come off as a bit creepy, but I feel you being the one who posted the video should hear it! I decided today that I would take a short nap with your video playing in repeat on my phone. It was very relaxing and enchanting to listen to, and I couldn't begin to explain how much I enjoyed it. Now...here's where it gets interesting. Naturally I would have woken up in two hours, but when I appeared to wake up, I felt as though a force were keeping me from leaving my sleep. The thing is, I was dreaming of waking up WHILE actually waking up. When I tried to get up (in the real world) I was just attempting to get up (in the dream world mirror'ing the real one in exactly the same moment), and this would continue on for the next couple of hours. For a while I honestly thought I was trapped. I realized what was going on but I still could not stop the process at all. When I managed to wake up, and actually be awake, I could barely do anything to save myself from the seemingly endless dream. It would only take seconds for it to suck me back in and bar me down from leaving. And then, somehow, for whatever reason, I just thought to myself... What would happen if I stopped the music? Whether I stopped it in my dream or in the real world is still beyond me, because at the point I was nearly lost in my own mind. Much to my surprise, the moment that I stopped the music, I actually regained control of my body in the real world. For a brief moment I felt my consciousness slipping again, but I held onto my sudden regained composure and removed myself from bed to confirm that I had actually made it back. Upon making it back and messaging my friend about what had just happened (they were pinging me on Skype off and on as I was trying to get out), it occurred to me that the music which had seemingly been keeping me held in my dream, a false reality...were these piano arrangements of Ib! How insane is that?! And what better to do than find the video on my laptop after finally escaping, eh? Thanks for the wonderful music!

Hello! Thank you very much for your comment. What you explained is very interesting! That sounds somewhat similar to what is known as "Kanashibari" in Japan - the feeling of being trapped and not being able to move one's muscles at will - induced with my music as its cause. It does sound insane. I didn't know I had such a secret power! :p The feeling you had of wandering back and forth between the dream and reality sounds odd but curious! That is exactly like you wandering in the museum of deep sea world... but in your case you were seeing the dream world that is just like the real world. There is a difference, but still - maybe your memory about the game Ib that was brought back by the music made you fall into the gap between those two worlds. I admit that this video has hypnotic effect when one is already sleepy. I sometimes fall asleep when I am sitting at my desk listening to this... But that kind of experience is for sure a rare one. I wish I could also have a peek in the world inbetween... or the other side, through the Fabricated World... Thank you for sharing your experience! It is very intriguing. I hope you would continue to enjoy my work, but don't let it disturb you too much, yeah? :)

deep5blue5sky=Knuttunk This happens to me from time to time (I love sleeping, probably escapism), the last time was noticeable, only thing is I don't listen to any music, maybe backround youtube commentary. I fell asleep and woke up so many times that I forgot what reality is, I dreamt that I woke up and that I was paralysed but somehow managed to roll out of my bed, when I woke up I felt very sleepy and heavy as if glued to my sleeping position and could barely move as if my soul is slowly regaining contact with my body systems, and not only that, sometimes, often enough, I hear a fairly strong hissing noise (difficult to describe), whether it's my brain or not I often dare not to look what the source is in my dream, but one time I got tired of it and saw the teddy from mister Bean tilting on the wall on my little table if I remember correctly, don't worry it's probably my lack of vigour and frustration that is the reason I avoid looking around, shameful cowardice, stooping to such an embarrassing and low level...

Didn't even know "escapism" was a thing, but I'm beginning to understand why I like sleeping and dreaming so much.

Obsidiana Thank you for listening! I appreciate your comment very much :)Unfortunately I haven't made sheet music for Old Doll, as I copied it by hearing and arranged it on spot while recording. If I had more time then I would have transcribed all of the pieces but... X(

I can only hope that Google Translate does me well enough, but I'll also leave this comment here in English. Absolutely adore this game, and I'll certainly come back to this video a few more times whenever I find myself needing to focus on something. Thanks for a beautiful video!

Thank you for your lovely comment! Your comment made my day :D and the google translation made me laugh XD Ahh now I really want to play Ib again and complete all Endings and the True Guertena Museum at once... Those cute conversations of caractors and random factors (that big blue doll...and Mary's drawing world...uwaahhh) make the game unable to become boring!!

I just keep finding more and more things every time I play the game (and am still missing some stuff in the final gallery). Such a good game hehe. Did you ever think of backtracking when you get Mary and Garry for the first time to see all those other little interactions?
@deep5blue5sky10 жыл бұрын
EmeraldS156 Same here! After the big update I wanted to play all the endings but the time didn't let me, and many objects are still missing in the True Gallery. That's why I want to play it all through and feel the looping world of Ib someday... And yes, I tried to get all possibilities of conversations with Garry and Mary whenever I had a chance to ask them everything! For the part which are decisive for the story's consequence later I didn't really do backtracking but just played the game again and again. I saw kouri, the producer of Ib writing in his/her blog that there is going to be an update soon! With bug fixes and some new hints, where we supposedly can see Garry's new reactions...can't wait for it!!!
Hello! I am your new subscriber, I love your pieces and can totally feel your effort put in! I just wanted to know more about you, are you Japanese? Because I see you reply some Chinese comment in Chinese and the English ones in English too. I still remember how addicted I was to the game IB 3 years ago and I still see you posting new videos related to the game! That's very impressive! My favourite song in the game is "Memory", what about you?

+Anchako Desu Hi! Thank you for your lovely comment. My mother tongue is Japanese as I grew up in Japan, but my parents are both Chinese. :) Yes, Ib is very addicting, right? I still want to play it when I have a large spare time. I just can't stop wandering in the deep sea museum. I'm glad you found my new played-it video for Ib! :DMy favorite music in game is also Memory, then also the guitar pieces by Mr. Yasutoshi (Garry's Themes, Prologue, Ending). They are just beautiful. I subscribed him on KZbin and listen to his playings when I want some calm and nostalgic music. They are just so reassuring. He posted some his own arrangements for Ib, maybe you'd like to check out. :)kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4iqn6h5g6dqp5Y
I just became your 1000th subscriber! Really love these relaxing music arrangements of Ib music, I found you through pixiv and I was not disappointed with what I found. :) I really love Ib's music as well.
