2012年に公開されたkouri様作のフリーホラーチックアドベンチャーゲーム「Ib」は、今年で8周年を迎えられました。お祝いとして、今でも大好きなIbのBGMをピアノで再びアレンジしました。今回はよりオリジナルの音色に忠実に再現することにチャレンジし、収録した楽曲も増えています。どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください。

19, 20, 21番の曲は私のオリジナルアレンジです。メインキャラクター三人のテーマの曲調を交換して弾いてみました。どうでしょうか?

本来なら7周年の時に用意したかった動画ですが、間に合わず8周年に滑り込みです。その分楽曲を増やし、楽譜制作を頑張りました。原音をなるべく忠実に拾いつつ、ピアノで弾きやすいような音色を意識しています。
せっかく時間をかけて作ったので、楽譜はたくさん利用していただきたいと思っています。弾きながら「こっちの方がいいな」と思う場合はじゃんじゃん改良を加えて、ぜひ皆さんご自分だけのアレンジをしてみてください。もし動画にしたら是非教えてくださいね! ぜひ聴きに行かせていただきます。
8年前にIbを知ってから、今でもその魅力の底が見えなくて深海を彷徨い続けています。個性的で魅力的なキャラクターたち、独特のグラフィック、あやしくも上品さを醸し出す音楽、ドット絵だからこそ掻き立てられる想像力、飽くことなく何度も繰り返すおかしな美術館の旅。美しさと恐怖、そして切なさが混ざり合い、一生私の心をとらえて離さないでしょう。

Ib has just had its 8th anniversary and I am (finally) making all the scores for the beautiful sounds of Ib, arranged for piano.
I can hardly believe that it's been already 8 years since I met Ib. This amazing game made by kouri has drawn me into its mysterious world of abyss and never let me go. I am still playing its music on the piano every now and then. Back then I uploaded my piano arrangement video few years ago which is still my favorite, and I'm very happy that many people still come back and listen to it today.
However, the arrangements from 8 years ago was not very true to the original tunes, and also the recording tools I used weren't the best, so I wanted to make a new recording for a long time. Originally I planned to make this compilation to celebrate the 7th anniversary, but well, a year later it finally happened!
For this matter, I also worked on the sheet music for ALL of the BGMs of Ib (finally!). Until now I was satisfied just by playing by ear, but this way I can be more accurate with the notes + try out more arrangements based on them.
Just be reminded that my music sheets won't be 100% true to the original tunes to make the music playable & comfortable to listen to when played on the piano.
I hope you tenjoy my arrangements and that those who need the sheets find them useful. And don't hesitate to make your own arrangements based on these! These are just my interpretation and there are million ways to play the sounds.

Seeing a video about Ib this year, being a wonderful performance on the piano by a great artist, with thousands of views... I started to cry. もう10年以上前の作品なんですね、、。 今高校生ですが5、6年前くらいにibを知って世界が変わりました。こんな素敵な演奏にも出会えて嬉しいです。ibのおかげで美術館が好きになりましたし、この動画を聴きながら通学するとその日頑張れる気がしています👍 個人的にうごくえほんすごく好きなんです！でもゲーム中はたった数分しか聴けなかったのでここで聴けてよかったです😭スイッチ版(リメイク後)プレイしましたが最高ですねw2時間で全てコンプリートしちゃいました💦いつになっても色褪せないib、、まさに最高傑作ですね♪こんなに素敵な作品をありがとうございます😊

美しいけれども不気味なibの世界の雰囲気がとてもよく表現されていてうp主様のib愛がめちゃめちゃ伝わりました。 私はかくれんぼが一番好きです。イブとギャリーが脱出するにはメアリーが燃えるしかないと言う救えないけれども仕方がない無情感がギターの音色でいい感じに寂しい音楽なので大好きなのですが、ピアノの音色のかくれんぼもまたいいですね。ゲームのシーンを思い浮かべながら聞かせていただきました。 最後の3人の曲の雰囲気を交換しているのもうp主様のイブ達へのキャラ愛がめちゃくちゃ詰まってますね。個人的には傀儡のギャリーver.がとても好きです。 矢張りibはフリーホラーの中でも不朽の名作ですね。小6の時ibの実況をみてからずっとbgmを聞いております。幸せな時間をありがとうございます😭😭

For some reason whenever I listen to this OST I feel sad... It's peacefull perhaps more than I feel I deserve. It somehow reminds me of of death, the feeling of submission, loneliness, abandonment. I wonder how other people feel when listening to this OST Edit: perhaps this is what Guartella was feeling while painting. Perhaps his sadness was the thing that gave his art life

Oh wow...found this video just as I've begun learning Ib's OST. I'm barely a year into piano playing but wanted this to be my first full medley to play. This is going to be so helpful!!! Thank you so so much - like you I also wanted to do the original OST and feel of the game justice, and mentally prepared myself for compiling and even writing new sheets to make that happen. The dungeon themes in particular intimidated me, as I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to music I play actually sounding good. As a beginner, I can't describe how thankful I am that I will be able to just focus on learning the music, and I plan on doing the whole OST no matter what! Thank you thank you thank you!

The storybook "finding the key" scene and its music will forever ingrained in my head. The story and music is really thrilling and refreshing to me but it's disturbing at the same and is the most memorable for me in the game.

I would listen to these pieces everyday before bed or doing homework. Thank you very much for your comment! Ib is indeed a beautiful masterpiece, including the music. I've been playing the game's theme song ever since I came across it and I keep playing it till today. The three pieces you mentioned are my arrangements of the main theme of three characters through swapping the style of each piece (Ib's theme in Mary's theme style, Mary's theme in Garry's theme style, Garry's theme in Ib's theme style). So this video should be the first time you hear them :)

Yes, Mary is a lovable character, she just realized there is a world outside and wanted to be a part of it... but she also only knew the method of the world she belonged. Ib doesn’t have an ending where all three characters will be saved, and that’s what makes this game a masterpiece, yet I can’t stop imagining how it would’ve been if they all could get outside and enjoy the days of normal world together.
