@MJSafran11 I always draw the basiclines first before I start to shade. I use several techniques for drawing the basiclines. Sometimes I use the grid method, sometimes I measure things or sometimes I draw it freehanded. Details are always drawn freehanded.

@MrAizen93 Thank you! It looks kinda glossy because of the graphite on the paper from the pencils. It is 200 g/m2 paper, kinda strong and smooth paper. A4 size.

I'm a huuuuge Assassins Creed fan and this video has inspired me to make a drawing of Ezio too. I'm making one right now but I do not have a very huge paper to draw on, so I'm just drawing Ezio's head and down to the collar with the beautiful patterns :)

@SarmVX Thank you for your comment... Exactly! Always draw a sketch with the basiclines first! Some ways to draw a sketch is using the grid method, draw them freehand or measure them from your reference. Before you start with shading you can see possible mistakes. A great technique to find these mistakes is using a mirror or looking at your sketch from a distance... If you're satisfied with your sketch you can start with filling it up... shade it... add details etc.

@ThePokemonmaster316 simple :) the pen you see in the video is not a pen. It's a 3B pencil inside a pen. They are called mechanical pencils. Very handy for drawing details!

My dearest friend, my budgie Tweety who was always by my side while I was working on my drawings passed away on 1 may 2011. She was a real good company for almost 12 years.
