@@beckee6282 At a party with some of my wife's new co-workers and their friends, we were asked if we wanted to stay after the original BBQ party for a swinger's event with 6 couples. We declined and a short period of time later as the party was almost over and we were getting ready to leave the hosts brought my wife and me a couple of glasses of some very expensive Whiskey to taste. It was supposedly a $50k bottle of Whiskey. We drank it and shortly after I became slightly disorientated and my wife was completely unresponsive. As an ER Doc, I realized we had been drugged. I remember hearing them talking about why I was still standing and why my wife was completely out of it. Their mistake was that fact I am a big guy at 6''7" 265 lbs of rock-solid muscle who does MMA Training 5 days a week for "fun". They tried to grab onto me and pour another beverage down my throat but I started swinging and then made it over to the fireplace and grabbed a poker. I hit several of them (men and women) before they backed off and then I pulled out my phone and called the Sheriff's Dept who I am personal friends with several of them. I heard the panic in the voices of the people as they tried to come up with a mutual story to tell the cops. 2 of the couples were really mad as they had no idea about us getting drugged and they eventually confessed everything they knew. Too bad for them, I hit video record on my phone. The Sheriff's Deputies got there and I was trying to explain to them what happened and I ended up handing him my phone to watch the video. My wife and I were taken to the hospital and she nearly died. They had screwed up and given my wife the glass and dosage that was supposed to have gone to me and I got her lighter dosage which is why I could still somewhat function. It was a mixture of a GHB and MDMA or Ecstasy. They all got prison time and they are all still in prison except for one of the wives who was able to somehow "end" herself. She was having some serious medical issues because she was one of them who I connected very hard with the fireplace poker on her temple.

Back in about 1983-84 I was still in High School at the time and used to frequent a "teen" dance club off of Memorial Drive in Houston. I'm 56 now and have never tried or used any drug... Anyhow, I was drinking a Coca Cola at the "bar" there and someone bumped into me and sort of spun me halfway around. I thought nothing of it, just an accident. So I turned back towards the bar and finished drinking my coke. About twenty minutes later, the effing floor was undulating, the ceiling was dropping and floating up, I could hear the electricity running to all the lights and neon... The top of my skull felt like it was floating in circles on top of my head. Thankfully I had a lot of real friends there and also knew the owners really well... I told them that I was doped or something, by someone in the place. They were nice enough to take me into the office with two or three of my friends, where we waited for the paramedics to arrive. After about an hour, it was determined that someone had thrown what might have been powdered Speed or Crank into my Coca Cola... Anyhow, all was well after a few hours in the hospital... The owner of that club hired a couple extra security people to patrol the place... But the moral of the story is that this can happen to anyone... Especially these days. Cheers

I've been in a similar situation. Not my wife though. Was at a club and dancing with a girl. We go to a side table to rest and have a drink. She goes to the bar (ladies get served faster lol) and comes back with two tall colorful drinks. We're drinking them, taking our time and she starts slurring bad. Real bad. I'm kinda like damn what a lightweight but when I stand up I'm dizzy. Not the buzzed or drunk dizzy either. I'm holding the table and she just goes unconscious. Face first into the table. I pick her up in one arm (195lb fit me, maaybe 100lb her) I make my way outside for fresh air. I put her down on the side of the building and sit next to her. I couldn't think straight. Next thing I know someone is shining a light in my eyes. It's a cop. He's asking questions. I'm mumbling something and gesturing at the girl. Cop calls ambulance. Ambulance picks her up. Cop picks me up and we sit in his car. He let me sleep there. He kept an eye on me. The next day he told me what happened. The girl was slipped so much of a cocktail of various date-r*pe drugs she would have died. As for myself, the only reason I lived was my body weight and good health. Be careful out there.

The purpose of sharing this story is to catch the man who is drugging people's drinks. He is dangerous and could have already targeted multiple people. I was hesitant to share my experience because I don't fit the conventional image of a petite, pretty woman. I'm a bigger person, and I knew some shallow individuals would mock my size. But that's beside the point. Regardless of my weight, I was a vulnerable woman alone and became a target. My husband said that in his state, he would have walked away with anyone. This happens to women daily, and we need to catch this guy before he hurts anyone else. My family grew up in the Montrose area, and we moved to the Energy Corridor during COVID. We frequent this spot because we enjoy it. My husband, a military man and a good person, has NEVER been violent. He had four drinks, and it took us a day and a half to figure out what happened. This story is to make everyone aware that this can happen to anyone, regardless of age or size. . At the time, we thought nothing of it, as it's not uncommon for couples to finish each other's drinks. It's sad that because someone may be heavy, others might dismiss the story, thinking a heavier person doesn't fit their idea of someone being roofied. My wife cheated on me with a cop and to get rid of me, they drugged me and tried to kill me. I had a paid off house and about $150k in the bank. Now I'm broke and living with my parents. When i reported it, the cops didn't believe me and called me crazy. I left my home in fear. About a week later, i was arrested and charged with a felony and a misdemeanor, and I never committed a crime. I did 7 months in jail and when i got out, it took me 3 months to find a job other than fast food. Even McDonald's wouldn't hire me. Sonic did. I have a CDL and even the truck companies want 3 years from the felony charge date. I'm still having hallucinations from the drugs they gave me. I have night terrors from this event still to this day. When I received the cup I was in process of detailing how I would be leaving a location where a former coworker of mine lived. @@victoria5217 Bathrooms are loaded with fecal material. Every time someone flushes the toilet the fecal bacteria is spread throughout the entire bathroom as an aerosol. You aren't even supposed to keep your toothbrush in the bathroom, let alone something you plan on consuming.

Drink only beer in bottles, remove the cap yourself, and hold the bottle until it’s empty. Put your thumb over the hole if anyone is nearby.

Part of "Serving it Right" training in some provinces the bartender opens the bottle. If you're being served by a waitress, it's open for some time from the bar to your table. This popular bar AlSO has to ramp up it's oversight. Times have changed.

I drugged and rpd by 2 men when i was 14 . I remeber feeling like a zombie begging the younger man to please dont. He barely touched my arm and led me to the bedroom . I had know control. The older man was in his late 40s. The younger was heavey set , sweaty and no teeth. He didnt bathe much. I woke up naked rolled up in heavy living room carpet. My attackers past out before they could dump me. Im ok now tho

@lizlagle671 I am, and only by God did I live, 14 yrs living on the streets and in poverty. My mom just died and I was just left to fend for myself. I'm talking no food , no clean drinking water, and no shoes. I remember being 16 and walking out of a Florida Kmart wearing a brand new pair of bright white tennis shoes and they squeeked on the tile all the way out. I was so scared. A family took me in at 28 ,didn't even know me and got me a GED, went to school to be a surgical tech and a drivers license 🙃

Had this happen in college. I hung out with a rather attractive (but quirky) female friend from my program, and one night all of us from class were all out at the college concert. I completely blacked out on my second beer. I don't even remember how I got home an hour away. At that point in my life, I was used drinking a twelve pack in an afternoon without much ill-effect. I told the guys from my class the next day, and they were pretty convinced it was someone not from the college (small place, only 2K students) who came as a guest, trying to roofy the girl's drink. I woke up with the most insane pounding headache the next day, which was unusual.

I'm 65 and predatory people have been doing this since I was a kid and you only had to be 18 to drink back then. In Dallas its rampant. Lots of predators and sometimes it could be the bartender.

girlfriend was drugged by acquaintances, this was over 10 years ago but its still scary. she went to a customer of hers house (she was an amazing dog groomer). came back and could barely stand. never once before or after had i ever seen such as she was not a drunk. im glad she got home safe , the cops easily could have gotten her for dui and not given a shitte that she was poisoned.

It seems that a lot of folks here assume that the motive must be sexual. But it might not necessarily be that, as in the end it is a crime of opportunity and simply having the ability to easily steal someones purse or wallet in the shuffle might be enough for a criminal. Don't go jumping to conclusions, just be extra vigilant!

I can't believe this is still going on. I guess these men need to have 40 years in prison so they figure out not to put drugs in people's drinks. What's it going to take? Disgusting?

In Austin Texas is very common for people to pay the bartender to roofie someone’s drink. The domain is also a hotspot for people getting roofied, always make sure the bartenders make the drink in-front of you and never leave your drink unattended. Better to throw away that $15

Just so you all know, the drug Midazolam, is what the criminal used. It's also called Versed, and it's a FAVORITE drug of doctors to use before a patient's surgery because it keeps the patient compliant even when they are doing some things that the patient would NOT agree to and wipes out their memory so they can't remember how badly they were treated. Benzodiazepines are their name, and they DON'T KNOW HOW IT WIPES OUT SHORT TERM MEMORY. They also can't prove that the effects are only temporary, and in some people like the gentleman in this video, it makes them violent or prone to say or do things they normally would not.

So give some factual evidence of what has happened in the past where bartenders have done this. I mean it must happen all the time so it must be really easy to find evidence of this
