Suga even complimented Jimin on how good he got playing guitar also way before the Barbie movie, during 2nd season In the Soop. Which makes that comment Suga made, rather ironical, shows his cynicism able to stage untruths without a problem just for the sake of humor, but debatably as usual, at Jimin’s expense, though Jimin always ever so easily throws it back at him! 😅 it just make what Suga said all the more rather funny, sort of like being “caught in a “lie””, 😬 since it was Suga who was the one who gave him that meaningful compliment on his guitar playing back a few yrs before! 😅😂 Also, it was Jimin who was the one playing guitar in his song “Letter” the hidden track on his FACE album! Suga always aims these kind of cynical or sarcastic, but usually false, not factual comments at Jimin. Usually misleading p, utterly false! Jimin even while backstage in the waiting room for Jimmy Fallon, when he went there for his comeback debut for his FACE album, interview, skits, & performance of Like Crazy, where he actually stated playing a quite technical difficult classical piece, that many reactors who are familiar with playing guitar were utterly impressed since not inly did it sound good but his hand position, showed & finger positioning showed that he was rather adept and must have been playing and or practicing for quite awhile to get that good! They had the pancakes in the beginning because this song was release after Butter. It was also released at the end of the pandemic, when restrictions were finally getting lifted. So it was BTS’ way of lifting us up and basically saying that we got through this! Fun fact, the dance moves to the chorus were done to sign language. So what they were singing, they were saying through sign language. Which is why the ending showed them dancing with the staff and the crew, they wanted everyone to see how simple the dance really was.

Permission to Dance (PTD) was BTS' third all English song, and 5th #1 Billboard song in 11 months. Their 6th #1 song "My Universe" (w/ColdPlay) was October 2022. BTW, PTD was written by Ed Sheeran. The PTD concerts started with a concert in Seoul in October 2021. There were four in LA at the Sofi Stadium Nov/Dec 2021, three Seoul concerts in March 2022, and four concerts at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in April 2022. Don't worry, with over 400 songs in the discography, you still have a long way to go.

Yes, they released this song to give hope and positive energy to the people around the world when covid restrictions were slowly lifted up. They performed this song in UN assembly too. The 1st concert after the covid was PTD on stage. Unfortunately they all got covid after this, but mild. Suga was the 1st one to diagnose with covid and Jungkook diagnosed only 6 days before their Grammy award performance. So they didn't get any proper preparation for that performance and they were all nervous before the performance but they nailed it, Please watch their grammy "Butter" performance. incredible !!

A happy song full of hope for better days. In the midst of the pandemic, it's like they said "Everything will be fine soon". "We are forbidden from many things, but we don't need permission to dance!" The choreography is simple and captivating. They used sign language at the end of the choreography (in nana nana nanan) meaning HAPPY - DANCE - PEACE. BTS made a point of showing some professions and groups that were directly affected by the lock down in the MV. The ending dancing with the pride team shows a real characteristic of BTS: they are kind and humble towards everyone and recognize the value of their collaborators. Beautiful!!! 💜💜💜

I saw the first PTD show in LA, their very first performance with an audience since the pandemic. This was to celebrate the lifting of pandemic restrictions. 💜 They managed to showcase all the people most effected by the pandemic: office workers (actually a Welcome Back banner in the background), mail carriers, schools, restaurant staff and, subtly, the deaf and hard of hearing (masks made it harder for them to understand people who couldn’t sign). They even put sign language in their choreography. 🥰 Those guys worked so hard to bring us content even during a worldwide pandemic!! I don’t think they have rested since 2011. 😂

This was during covid. In one of the concept photos there is one with the front of a newspaper Its all covid/BTS related headlines. PTD was a whole concert movie that they performed in Seoul. It really annoyed the crap outta me because Army was supposed to stay in their seats and not cheer or dance. WTF? How can you not do that at any concert let alone BTS. They were given those lame clappers instead.
