Welcome back. As in the comments below, this is one of their 'one-off' alternate songs, in this instance their homage to Indian or Bollywood music and dance. You won't find another song like this in their catalogue .... possibly 'Metalizm' comes closest, but that is a sort of Middle Eastern / Egyptian / Arabic influenced Psy-trance metal song. You have some great suggestions in the comments below for songs that arguably represent BABYMETAL better (or show more of what they do more often) - but they have about 70 songs now and each one is different to the last, so among those suggestions you will also find songs that are more your thing and that you would/will listen to on repeat.🤘

Babymetal explored a lot of various cultural influences from their 3rd album. So, you didn't like it. It's okay. This is probably not what I would suggest as an actual first listen (collabs aside). "Shanti Shanti Shanti" is part of the Metal Galaxy album (2019) where they decided to go very experimental and it's full of cool collaborations and songs influenced by other cultures. It's an Indian influenced song and the choreo reflects perfectly the traditional Indian dances and hand movements. Some Indian reactors commented that they are really accurate and that's a huge praise (and a relieve, since paying tribute to other cultures can be controversial sometimes). "Shanti" is a Sanskrit word and literally means peace, being in peace - it also means tranquility, calm mind, well-being, happiness, absence of stress and avoidance of pain. According to the Hindu tradition, there are three negative forces which are the source of pain. So, by chanting "Shanti" three times they neutralize the effects of these three forces. Shanti has a beautiful meaning and also a beautiful sound, and repeating it three times could also be interpreted as peace in body, mind and soul (the three parts of the human being). I try to urge people new to BABYMETAL to start from BABYMETAL's beginning and see how they have progressed to now - see where they’ve been before getting caught up in where they are - and react to their first two music videos, "Doki Doki Morning" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZrVmYRunrGXmNksi=k84SUx4P01t9M5ic ) and "Iine!" (pronounced "E-nay") ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4fHc3WFpbiihJYsi=rNZ3yF8RGVdzBZmS ), both released in 2012. I'm sure you will find both very entertaining. It is my opinion that, until you’ve seen their earlier work, you haven't really experienced BABYMETAL. There is a playlist on KZbin, "BABYMETAL Top Twenty" ( kzbin.info/aero/PLdhz2aj0pt4zPl0BZLevPUR9uHKQA27uj ), that includes these two music videos, and it includes both music videos and live performances that are more or less in historical order. If there is a "typical" (not sure it exists) babymetal song, this is not it. Babymetal = genre bending / experimental. Having said that, I'd suggest the song most often voted number 1 by the fandom. "Megitsune" The recent live PIA arena version is really really good. For a mostly straight up metal song, I'd suggest Road of Resistance Live in Japan (official) or Ijime Dame Zettai, from the UK Sonisphere festival 2014(this performance is what basically made them blow up in the west). Both are pretty much power metal songs.

I would say Catch me if you can isva bad idea. The Choreo simply no longer works. They have grown out of it.
