Special mention to Masicka, "History" and "Tyrant" are two great tracks from him. There's the whole dancehall/rap scene too. Your dads reaction when he realizes who YGs mother is brought tears to my eyes. He so gets the brilliance of this song. For me and millions of other fans it might be one of the most uplifting songs ever composed. The brilliance of it is beyond words. That the video dropped on April 20th was just MAGIC. I listen to it daily as it turns any bad mood around. I LOVED that your dad also saw the magic of the ending.. You guys sound Canadian. If you ever come to Hawaii you will be blown away by the similarities of native Hawaiian culture especially the Big Island. We love Hawaiian reggae aka Jawaiian. Check out Ka'ikena Scanlan sometime. Hes our revolutionary musician with a message of change. Your dad's pure comments on this Praise Jah in the Moonlight was unbiased and so off the top of his spirit. I sure hope YG remains pure and never gets ruined by the fame monster. I do think his family will protect this precious young soul. This was absolutely the best review of this song that I have watched. You guys KNOW music!!!!

Returning to this video just to comment again... I love this channel! Everytime I start to feel it's getting a little too Eminem/pop-rap focused you guys bring it back to Earth with real sincerity and appreciation for art/music, and I hope that never changes. ...and because I've yet to see a Peter Tosh recommendation scrolling through, I feel like its necessary to point out his contributions and talent in his own right. 'I Am That I Am' being a personal favorite. And as popular as Bob's later music is, his earlier music -- 'Soul Rebel', 'African Herbsman', 'Natty Dread', 'Positive Vibrations', 'So Jah Say' etc.. -- is so overlooked I think you guys should listen to it in your own time even if it never gets an official reaction.

I appreciate you guys stepping into the reggae side of things. I recommend you guys do a reaction video to either Protoje's 2020 album, "In Search of Lost Time," or Chronixx's 2017 album, "Chronology." Both were nominated for Grammys, were excellent soundtracks to the turbulent years they were released in, and contain each artist's biggest hits. They also delve into reggae/dancehall/hip-hop fusion tracks, so they will be a good bridge to the hip-hop you normally do. Looking forward to more reggae content!
