Yes... extremely groundbreaking. And, in 2004 I was with the one and only girl I've ever loved who unfortunately miscarriaged our child and this album was not only the hottest thing out at that very moment in my life we would take car rides listening to this album. Kanye actually recorded “Through The Wire” with his jaw wired shut. That’s why he says “I drink a Boost for breakfast and an Ensure for dessert, somebody ordered pancakes I just dipped the syzurp” (also a reference to rappers back then would mix cough syrup with sprite or Mountain Dew). Also “When it All Falls Down” originally sampled Lauren Hill and Lauren wouldn’t clear the sample, so they couldn’t use it, that’s why he says at the end of it “Selena you just like a safe belt, you saved my life” because she came in at the very last minute to sing that part and get it on the album.

The thumbnail looked like your dad was wearing a hat cocked to the side. I almost lost it then I looked again. Great video, your dad truly appreciates hip-hop, so beautiful.

Please cherish your dad while you have him. I wish I could sit with my dad and do something like this. He was eclectic when it came to his musical taste, so I would've loved to sit with him and have him explain why he loved certain songs. In return, I'd play some of my favorite music and get his opinion on it. Keep posting great content.

Awesome always guys! Thank You. In my opinion this is the blueprint for how you make the perfect album. Kanye was on his grind and worked his ass off to make one of the greatest albums.

Love watching these videos cause the relationship i have with my dad (and my parents in general) is really awkward, and it feels like they could care less about the things I'm interested in. So seeing your dad so open minded and devoted to what you enjoy is super admirable and refreshing.

Your dad would be speechless listening to some of the rearrangements he's done to songs for the Sunday service choir. Will bring tears to your eyes🤯

Awesome job guys, like fucking really awesome job!! I remember hearing Through The Wire and being blown away. When the album dropped I sat in my car and heard all of it. I got home and made all of my siblings get in my car I drove around and made them listen to it. It was like I kidnapping but they had to listen to it. It changed my life for six months this CD didn't leave my truck. I would buy it for people just so they could experience it, I probably bought 7 copies. My friends and I still talk about this album till this day. You guys have a great relationship keep it up guys. Thanks for the experience.

My dad lost his sight when I was a teenager so I started driving him everywhere, his doctors appt, get his prescriptions.. anywhere and everywhere. We used that time to really bond and one of the ways we bonded was sharing music. He really enjoyed Palmdale by Afroman. It would be awesome if I could see your dad's reaction to it. Enjoy your and cherish the time with your dad. I lost my dad a few years ago and cherish those moments everyday.

Dad: "Whoa! Shhhhhit!" Best part. When dad just couldn't express himself in any other way. Forget any other accolade, THIS is what makes an album great. Classic. Also, "being able to rap that fast...", time for "Rap God" reaction

Fun fact for your dad Twista once held the title of fastest English-speaking rapper in the world according to Guinness World Records in 1992, being able to pronounce 598 syllables in 55 seconds.

Great to see you guys reacting to rap and bond over the lyrics, sounds, interpretations and everything. Kanye is a genius, some people just don't know yet. Just like Mozart, Bach, Mondriaan, Da Vinci etc
