i like that she held back a bit because this was also a massive comeback for the dixie chicks after they were blackballed, she let them have their moment. this performance was a massive statement in itself because black people are forgotten in country music as if they weren’t the originators. after this performance there was loads of racists complaining, while the show had its highest viewer ratings ever.

@@mrexecutiveof course she ate. She always does. But Beyoncé tends to pull back when singing with others. This is an example. She sang with Ed Sheeran a few times and held back outside of the Stevie Wonder tribute. She also held back when she, Jennifer Hudson and Anika Noni Rose sang the dreamgirls medley together at the Oscars. Granted, she DID just come on the stage and overpower Jennifer reign a beautiful resonant F5 but once they all got together and were singing at the same time, she held back. Jennifer and Anika were basically in a screaming match anyway tbh. Another example is when she sang signed sealed delivered with Mariah and others. My admiration for her is rooted in a deep respect for her artistry and undeniable talent. In fact, I was fortunate enough to witness one of her earliest performances on the television show "Looking for the Star" in the mid-1980s. From that moment, it was evident to me that she possessed a rare and extraordinary gift. With each new release, Beyonce continues to astound us with her musical prowess and stunning vocals. Her unwavering determination and drive make her truly unstoppable. I am grateful for the opportunity to witness her evolution as an artist, and my admiration for her only grows stronger. While I do not find every song on her albums to my liking, I do appreciate the undeniable brilliance of her work. There are always one or two tracks that stand out and leave a lasting impact.
