Fun fact, this song was inspired by G-funk: "It was around the time Warren G's "Regulate" was released and we wanted to make some sort of gangsta rap and tried to murk our sounds as much as possible. However, no one has ever compared it to hip hop. We've heard that the drums sound like Queen and The Clash, the melody is reminiscent of Giorgio Moroder, and the synthesizers sound like electro and thousand of other comparisons. No one agrees with us that it sounds like hip hop." - Thomas Bangalter

With each new chapter we look back fondly on the ones previous, elated with the ever growing catalogue of incredible works laid at our feet by these masters. Now that we are at an end we each hope with the fullness of our hearts that a new era will begin and ease the pain of this one ending. Today we celebrate the artists that gave us great joy, that gave us Da Funk at it's finest quality...

Homework has a special place in my heart. 4:04 , I left my hometown to go hitchhiking across Europe. My first lift in France was from this youngish Italian truck driver. He let me put the tape on as we headed to Paris. Trepidation, fear, freedom, and excitement all roled into one!

The 3:40 part of this song onwards, conveys such a rush and sad feeling at the same time, it's like you're part of a metropolis completely, even if you don't want to. This final part of the song, with this bunch of electronic layers, manages to convey sort of the most intense time possible inside a metropolis, as if you were watching the world go by around you at 300 kilometers an hour, and you were only part of it, even if you don't want your life to pass so quickly artificially. As someone who was born in a metropolis (São Paulo), I can say that this song is one of the best songs to walk around in the busy time of a city, even if the vibe is not entirely pleasant, but precisely because of that it's good...

From 4:09 until the end this song has a really badass vibe. To experience this, listen to this song while in the center of a busy city, you will notice how this song makes you notice how the the world around you goes by quickly and you don't notice sometimes. It's a kind of decadent melody at the same time.

One of the most iconic 303 baseline’ ever. Heard many a dj destroy many dance floors to this absolute belter. Long live Daft Punk ✊ The thing about this track is, they knew it was a belter, they didn’t feel the need to fill it with some stupid vocal. It just slays as it is !!
