Just wanted to drop a thank you for your work. I appreciate the nature of the Dagoth meme in itself, but this channel is something else. I know that getting text-to speech and similar tools to do what you want is an art in itself. Intonation and cadence are essential in comedy and you (guys?) get it just right. Hell, even pronunciation of these weird TES words come out well - I can only imagine the time spent tinkering with phonetic transcription to get those right. I haven't even mentioned the actual content itself, which is ten steps above the rest as well. Besides clearly having a solid understanding of the lore and the community zeitgeist, you have made the character your own - with his own comedic vocabulary and smartassery. (reminding me of IASIP in a way) The writing is great, the choice of video subject creative, and the video itself well-paced. My only gripe is not seeing them more often, but that's more of a testimony to their quality. Just wanted to get it out there that the efforts that go into these do not go unnoticed. Have a good one, Dagoth.

Hey, thanks for uploading this! I've recently started my first playthrough of the glorious entry to the Elder Scrolls series that takes place in the Dunmeri homeland itself, but the fields of Tamriel's sunless northern land of Skyrim softened me and made my first playthrough of Oblivion almost as difficult as an Argonian trying to make a living in Morrowind, and left me woefully unprepared for the challenges the noble Dunmeri face everyday in Dagoth's own beautiful, horrible land. Hopefully with this knowledge I can aim to be a fraction, a mere 1/1,000,000,000,000th as good at surviving in this land as the true and just Dunmeri people are. (...yeah but for real, I didn't and still don't know much of anything about Morrowind, but I briefly played it and found it... *challenging,* but I do hope to progress further in; I loved Skyrim and hoped to play the older ES games, and while the older games are nowhere near as easy, I elect to believe this video will genuinely, ironically - or unironically - help me a bit with knowing what to fight and what to flee from in my first playthrough of Morrowind. I have no idea who Dagoth even is really, but he certainly seems like a trustworthy and unbiased source of information about Morrowind! Good video 😂)

All jokes aside: the wildlife of Morrowind is why people should play the game. It is an alien world unlike anything else and what adds to the immersion is the people never point out the “oddity of living in a mushroom house” or that kwama egg miners are technically farmers.
