Ah, I see you're a man of honor as well. I have this theory that the Nerevarine would've joined house Redoran, because after the events of the game, when Oblivion, Argonian invasion of Morrowind, the Red Year all happen, Redoran take over as the leading faction because they're the only ones who have their s**t together and actually do something. When you join Redoran in Morrowind they are a bit on the backfoot, their leadership is old and rigid. So something must've changed between the time of the game and future events, and Nerevarine reforming the house makes the most sense.

I'm surprised to see another Redoran enjoyer. First house I did and now that I've done the rest, my thoughts have not changed, they're the best. I love the honourable warrior archetype in fantasy and as you mention, the way it's integrated into the main quest is all good stuff. Rewards are objectively the worst, but if you can't live off the dew on a single ginko leaf and the energy of the universe, you're not fit for most honourable house anyway.

I did Redoran last. I tend to play mage characters so I always just joined the Telvanni. But after completing the Redoran quests for the channel I could only think: damn, that was actually really good! It became by favourite questline after that.

Personally I dislike the Imperial Legion because if you join them then get distracted from advancing their ranks, every guard in the universe sasses you for wearing non Legion armor. Gets annoying quickly.

My gf is not a whale ® Mages guild questlines set me on path to learn more about disappearance of the dwarfs and Trebonius sent me to kill all Telvani councilors. That elevates it for me just a bit above Telvani.

I usually do both. Which makes for funny roleplay when Rhanys in Balmora has me go after independent tutors, healers and finally a(nother) telvanni spy... Only for me to turn on her and have her expelled and permanently removed from the game instead.😂 Screw "Souldrinker", that one got nerfed by rebirth anyways. Also, finishing Skink's questline will cause Trebonious to be fired, so you can take his job. Though he insists on sticking around and can be killer for his precious, precious loot. Afterwards I got the telvanni quest to overturn a monopol of the mages guild. The same Rhanys insisted on enforcing.😅

Ordinators being friendly is indeed illegal - they took your, Lord Indoril Nerevar, house name, and instead of immediately and unquestioningly pledging full and exclusive allegiance to you the moment they see you, they DARE to call you "scum", and outright attack you for wearing the helm or cuirass with emblems of YOUR house?!?! Getting their lives taken, their armor sold for coin, and their souls sold to the Daedra (at least lore-wise, if you refuse to install the corresponding mods) is the ONLY treatment they deserve! How DARE you to do Great House Telvani so dirty? What about the Robe of the Drake's Pride? - They are Telvani - Why would you even want to return it? You also didn't mention the ring of equity - the ultimate "f-you" to any offensive spellcaster... Redoran first place? Really?! "The you-can't-rejoin-after-getting-expelled-more-than-once, just like the Temple" faction? You praise the Ebony Armor set?! Why on earth would you NOT get a full Daedric armor set from Divayth Fyr? (damage strength, so he won't move, damage speed just to be extra safe, then disintegrate armor so he unequips it, then pickpocket it, and use calm if you want to talk to him)
