You might as well get out a calculator and some dice and a note pad and make up some random phone numbers and then multiply them and do some long division and then consult the Zodiac charts and Tarot cards. Very magical.

Good classic. Since you need 53 cards, it wouldn't be hard to have one card duplicated and force one of the pair into the 27th spot and use the other as your prediction. Patter un the extra dimensional power if cards ....

Great trick and force CM! When you asked the question during the intro, Dai Vernon immediately came to my head! I really love this force even though I don't know of any tricks that would need the 28th car d forced. I will have to look around to see some tricks that could be applied with this force, or vice versa. Great trick friend! #Roadto16K!

My friend Harris and I went to a DV magicians only show in Albuquerque in 1964, we were the youngest attendees and he called us up to assist on one of his productions, and the look on our faces when he vanished the lot brought down that packed house. I think we paid 25 dollars for our tickets. That was pricey in those days. Harris and I still talk about that night, and how DV fooled us.

Am I the only person that finds this one convoluted and, ultimately, an anti-climax? A rare miss for CM. Great channel.
@lyingcat90222 ай бұрын
No you’re not. I was looking for your comment to see if anyone felt the same. A lot of these mathy self working tricks feel this way. Like it’s just a bunch of counting and unnatural mechanics going on through the tricks.
@kym-bid-bidstrup36232 ай бұрын
@@lyingcat9022 Agree 100%. I find spectators rolling their eyes at tricks that involve seemingly unnatural/unnecessary moves, and complex "choices." They seem to be thinking - rightly! - "if you're so magical, just let me pick a card right now, for God's sake"

That's a lot of procedure for an effect that can be achieved in under 30 seconds using a slip cut force ! Why use a fancy looking marked deck unnecessarily. As an audience member I expect that even a low skill magician should be able to do magic with a MD. If you're not using the markings for this effect it still undermines the perceived skill of the performer. I don't even know for a fact that this is a MD but it still looks dodgy. I wonder whether you are offering them for sale. I'm sure all the fanboys will want one.
