Nice work, adapting the exercises as you’ve understood them from Hanna’s book. I’d like to encourage you to work with a practitioner of Thomas Hanna’s work because the breadth of knowledge and understanding of the mechanics and fight/flight/brain responses will grow tremendously. The AHSE has some upcoming workshops in which Clinical Hanna Somatic Educators will be leading The Cat Stretch sequence, monthly, free for the public. I’d be happy to share the info when it’s available.

I agree with the above comment and you could even possibly look at some videos that somatic movement educators have uploaded. 😊

I am extremely tight. Can I perform these exercises for an hour or more?
