late to the party, but if you are still looking: There's a home instance node you can get, you can farm some in the Dry Top map, and ordering them off the TP is also profitable.

I have one alt character parked in crystal oasis in the branded plateau area in the south east corner. Also in dry top theres multiple nodes, as well as the skritt queen in the sandstorm for a rich node. You get 10 from a rich node, so thats two charges every three days, which is more than enough if you're not needing them desperately

I have never felt like getting anyting for my home instance. Getting to someone else's gets the job done, and you almost always find a group in LFG.

No, you can use any place of powerz he even suggests using a couple in starting zones because they're easy to get to.
