Here is an Advanced Handstand Training that can be done daily, taking always in consideration your own level, your own goals and your specific energy levels that day. If you fall more into the intermediate category feel free to see this Handstand routine as a goal and do not feel discourage if some of the exercises seem too hard for you. Keep practicing on a frequent basis and I guarantee that this routine will become your warm up ;) And for all my beginners folks feel free to still give this routine a shot and maybe do all the exercises against the wall. Remember guys, ITS ALL ABOUT THE JOURNEY!

I started calisthenics 2 month ago and i want to achieve a planche. At the Moment im at a Assisted straddle planche. I Think that i should Master the handstand so i can practice my planche with handstand leans. Thanks for the Great Content.

Suelo entrenar 6 a 7 veces al día, y practicar el handstand todos los días, pero después de ver tu video anterior, creo que si estaba sobrecarga do mucho mis hombros (practicaba como 1:30 todos los días). Gracias por compartir tu conocimiento, Me han servido muchos tus videos gabo.

Maybe try the beginner variant instead of the advanced one, it really helped me to get to the 10-15 second mark

Did it today fully, it really is challenging, this needs lots of concentration. I hope this will be my "warm up" as you said in a couple of weeks. Great flow and routine tho, the best part that I liked is the part in the handstand from straddle to diamond, then tucked and then full :D Great job again brother. Wish you all the best

Do you think you will start working on weight shifting to one arm or a routine that is even more advanced? I've done this one many times and I am able to complete it, it's a great routine!

Agreed. I'm at the same point where this routine could be slightly more challenging. Just the beginnings of weight shifting as well as chin tuck drills would be awesome to see in the next one.

Great video Gabo! Perfect routine, it combines flexibility,balance and shoulder stability. I'm currently working towards 4 goals, Handstand/Planche/FL/Rings x3 times a week and 1 day of HS conditioning and on off days I do flexibility and yoga. I know that the progress will be slower having 4 goals instead of one, but I love all of them, so I'll face any difficulties. I'll try the whole routine on my HS conditioning day. Please make a routine for pancake stretch(my arch nemesis!!!). Many thanks bro!

Excellent as always. I started using this with all work against the wall as my handstand isn't solid and it works wonders. I add in weekly one handed work to prepare for later in my intended progression. Can you suggest any other weekly or other non-daily but regular routines that can be used with this daily routine?

kingfat187 i fucked mu shoulder, recovey has been slow and i am still not completly recovered. I have been 3 months off. I started doing hs a week ago, i still cant do my full stregth training tho. After about 5 sesion i was able to hold a few hs for solid 10 secs. I am doing the basic routine from gabo. It will be frustrating AF but keep training.

Secondly, I'm trying to progress my handstands and I can hold it for a good 30 seconds (against the wall). I can perform elevated pike push-ups. I would consider myself 1/3 of the way there. This is where I'm at as well. Here's a Gabo-drill that helped me: From crow pose, alternately take each leg off your arms - first your right knee then put it back, then your left knee then put it back. Practice controlling the transition smoothly. From what I understand, this progression to pushing the legs up is one of the biggest jumps towards achieving a freestanding handstand. When I have been able to hold it, my hips were stacked quite high over my shoulders, as if I were going to roll forward....but using all my front-deltoid power I was able to float for a few seconds.

Hi Gabo. I've got a problem with pressing to handstand. I can't make it becouse of fear of falling on my neck/back. Usually when I try I lift my hips and legs to like 65 degree, then while I straighten my legs i fall. Any advice?

Do you have some tips for one arm handstand ? I have been training one arm for 3 months now but can't to see to find my balance, my max handstand is one minute so i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

Maikel van Grootel my max handstand hold is 3 min and Ive been training one arm handstand for 2 years on and off and consistently for 1 year straight almost every day and I still cant hold the One Arm. You ain’t doing anything wrong :) whatever it took you to get the handstand, multiply that by 10 at the very least. Thats the time it takes to get a proper OAH

Gabo Saturno thanks for the information man your video's really are an inspiration for me, I train handstand every day and I think it is one of the coolest moves out there. Do you mabye have some one arm handstand exercises, because sometimes I'm able to hold a OAH for 5 secondes and then not even one second.

My daily routine: 1 hour of handstand attempt... 😂 I don't know why I can hold a handstand but I'm steel struggling with the kick up.... 🙄🙄

giuliomannucci Pls reduce your time practising the Handstand to maximum 30 Minutes and only go for succesfull atempts, otherwise your body will remember how not to do the Handstand properly. Same goes for your kick up. Try that and you will achieve your kick up very soon.

Robin Supper I do a lot of rest period between sets, and my kick up is always better, I just loss the focus and start to do random kick ups. Thanks for the tip

Robin Supper my record is 30 sec, usually I hold it for 20 sec, my form is pretty good, but sometimes I forget to do some movements so I can't hold properly (like push with shoulder foword and ppt). I'm working on hs push up and straight arm press. I should train crow to hs but I wanna be good at hspu before try some bent arm exercises

Great content!Hey gabo, i need some adviceI am training for muscle ups 3 times a week. I do lot of pull ups and dips (with 1 day rest, 1 day training).I think i am intermediate in handstands. So how do i combine your routine with my training.

kumar gourav I would do this routine once or twice max per week and then just 10-15 min of regular practice (maybe half the routine) at the beginning of your training.
