These vlogs have triggered memories- Late 70"s my dad with corgi ( Holden/Viscount van) and friend with wife and golden retriever (station wagon/van) set off around Aust from S.A. Included was visits to Tunnel Creek/ Winjana Gorge! Unsure if they drove the Gibb but it's possible . We did S.A. - W.A Darwin N.T -Adelaide in Toyota Hi Ace with 2 teenagers/2 corgis and a 4man tent - late 80's interesting! But missed the Gibb How different in 2023! So glad i had the opportunity to live in Derby from 2011-2013. Seeing amazing places such as Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge with only around 6 to10 people around felt like your the only one's there. P.s there's always a croc in the last pool at Tunnel Creek😂

Love the excitement you guys are experiencing. Takes us back to when we travelled the Gibb! Just felt overwhelmed at the sheer beauty of this land. Good tyre pressures are key! The only thing we found was the idiots flying past in opposite directions & not slowing to driving conditions. Let's hope you guys have more considerate drivers, coz we're all there to make memories & come out the other side without any major dramas. Have fun!🍻

I’m loving this !!! Will be checking in daily for sure. How cool is Tunnel Creek, I’ve been a few times but have never seen water at the entrance like you had 😳. Definitely more that one croc in there !! Also Tunnel Creek has some very interesting history ( about the Aboriginal leader and outlaw called Jandamarra). And that epic backdrop used to be an ancient reef in the Devonian period around 350 million years ago ❤️. So stunning.

Awwww thankyou so much for watching! 😁 We mostly found each other on instagram and have been travelling on and off with these people for the past 6 months and we just happened to be in the same spot at the same time and planned this epic trip 😁😍
