I was surprised when a young Israeli girl ,told me she'd been to a theater to watch The Passion . .so I asked her permission to read Isaiah 53 out to her , Then ,I asked , did what she saw in The Passion ,sound like Isaiah 53 . Yes , exactly , but , she'd never heard this portion of The bible read in synagogue ,even though her father took her regularly. After hearing my reading ,her plan was to ask her dad , why , in all the years of attendance, this chapter had been excluded from synagogue teachings, Her ears and eyes had been opened , Thanks be to HA SHEM, Thanks be to Yeshua , ❤❤❤

Please listen to Rabbi Tovia Singer and return to the truth of Tanach. Now as a challenge to Christianity: How do you explain that Jc was born allegedly to a virgin (see: Matthew 1:18) and is somehow, yet a descendant of king David? Surely you are aware that Halacha (i.e., Jewish law) dictates that tribal affiliation goes only by the father, whereas the child’s status of being Jewish goes only by the mother, namely if the mother is Jewish then the child is also Jewish. You should know that modern orthodox was not the Judaism practice by your ancestors, but rather orthodox Judaism, and only orthodox Judaism is the authentic way to serving HaKadosh Baruch Hu.
@larisaaaАй бұрын
@@MohitDass-jt4ue Isaiah 7:13-14 ““Then he said, “Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also? Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” (In Hebrew, the word for virgin is maiden, and in those times, a maiden has always been a virgin. Maidens also mean virgins even in today’s vernacular.) Joseph and Mary were distant cousins. They each fulfilled the prophecy that the messiah would descend from the house and lineage of King David. Jesus’ legal title to the throne of King David was through Joseph, but his blood title to the throne was through Mary. Mary’s lineage, as recorded by Luke, does not mention Mary, but that’s to be expected-including women’s names in genealogies was not standard practice. It begins this way: “[Jesus] was the son (so it was thought) of Joseph, the son of Heli” (Luke 3:23). This comment affirms the truth of Jesus’ virgin birth (see Luke 1:29-38). Joseph was a “son” of Heli by virtue of his marriage to Mary, who would have been the daughter of Heli. (Matthew 1:16 lists Joseph’s biological father as Jacob.) Some notable points in Mary’s lineage are that she was a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Luke 3:34); she was specifically of the tribe of Judah (verse 33). She was also a descendant of Boaz (verse 32) and David (verse 31). Significantly, Luke traces Mary’s lineage all the way back to Adam (verse 38). This fits with Luke’s purpose as he wrote to Gentiles and emphasized that Jesus is the Son of God who came to save all people (cf. Luke 2:10-11). Another issue relating to Mary’s lineage is her relation to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Luke says that Mary was related to Elizabeth, who was in the tribe of Levi (Luke 1:5, 36).

God has a Son, but it’s not in the way that you and I relate to the word “son.” Yeshua is the Word of God. Our Father God describes Him as a Son so that we might understand their relationship to each other in terms that humans can understand.

Yes, Jews have been rejecting Jesus and trying to discredit Him since the time he was alive through the time that they crucified him and post crucifixion. Like most institutions, Jewish leaders like rabbis, Pharisees, Sadducees, etc did not want to believe Jesus was the Messiah because holding onto their power and authority was more important than if they Agreed with Jesus and that the only way to God is through Jesus, and they would be obsolete, which they are, and so there’s been a lot of effort for centuries to rewrite interpretations of the Old Testament to skew timelines to try to make it where Jesus couldn’t have a claim to the throne, and otherwise they’ve hidden it Sadly, but God is reaching each of us in his own way, and the elect will be chosen and encounter Jesus, regardless of the devil’s deception he has shown in the world to try to ensnare us.

I experienced a bit of this from the Gentile side. I went to a Menorah lighting to stand with the Jewish community in my city in the wake of Oct 7. I felt that the leaders of my city were encouraging anti-Semitism and it just felt wrong. So I wanted to show my support as a Christian and one who loves God to these people I would call my brothers and my sisters. I had just come from Seminary at my bible college, and I was wearing a little hoodie that read 'I am a child of God, the scars I bear are a reminder of all the times life has tried to keep me down and failed.' The Rabbi's were NOT fond of me... But of course they had framed this as a public event and not a pro Israel POLITICAL event so they couldn't really say much... But you could FEEL the level of discomfort with me. Even though I was there to stand with them in their time of suffering. Now would I go again? Yes. I will. I might not wear that shirt, but I will go again and again and again, to show that the love of God never quits never slows down never takes a break.

What is the worth, value, and importance of the lives, dignities, and existence of GOD and Jesus Christ? ANSWER - The lives, dignities, and existence of GOD and Jesus Christ are clearly of no worth, value, and importance to Atheists, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and fanatics of all kinds of Religions who are obviously unbothered and just don't care even if their - 1. assertion and claim that GOD doesn't exist and 2. LIES and false teachings and doctrines about "heaven and hell", "afterlife", "immortality of the souls", "Armageddon", "Trinity", "rapture", and "reincarnation" bring them nothing but their own dishonor, disgrace, shame, downfall and ETERNAL DEATHS. What is the worth, value, and importance of the lives, dignities, and existence of human beings? ANSWER - The lives, dignities, and existence of human beings are of great worth, value, and importance to GOD who uses the BIBLE to reveal that - 1. All persons on earth who honor and obey Jesus Christ as their loving, kind, and merciful Master and Heavenly King will definitely bring themselves honor and GOD's favor and reward of ETERNAL LIFE and existence on earth without sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and death as written in Revelation 21: 3, 4. 2. the teachings of Jesus Christ about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" written in Luke 4: 43 and John 11: 25, 26 are the guarantee that all the loving, kind, respectful, and submissive persons on earth who died recently and thousands of years ago like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Job, Naomi, Ruth, King David, Jesus Christ's Followers and disciples, and many others will all be RESURRECTED back to life in the right and proper time so they can peacefully, happily, and abundantly live and exist on earth forever as citizens and subjects of the "KINGDOM of GOD" and fully enjoy the eternal love, kindness, goodness, generosities, compassions, favors, and blessings of GOD and his Christ for eternity under the loving and kind rulership, guidance, and protection of Jesus Christ as his GOD and Father's Chosen King and Ruler of the heavens and the earth as written in Revelation 11: 15.

What I find interesting about the Talmud isn't the fact of how they bash Jesus and create a lie about Him learning magic while He was in Egypt. It's the fact that they don't deny Him doing wonders. That alone should be enough to make people think and question the Talmud itself. Also, if Jesus isn't the Messiah, then no one else can be. According to Daniel 9, the Messiah was supposed to be around before the destruction of the 2nd temple and that he was going to be cut off. Well.... that time came and went. So either the prophet Daniel is a liar and a false prophet, or Jesus really is the Messiah. Occum's Razor at its finest.

Yes, you are right! Romans 11 😃🙌 Glory to God! I am a Jewish convert to the Catholic Faith. I was converted by a dream, on March 12, 1990. I was astonished to realize that Jesus is real! He’s alive! And He has all the power and all the love! I felt like I was floating on a cloud all day. That evening, I got on my knees and told Jesus, “Lord, I’m yours, body and soul. Do whatever You want with me.” I asked Him to find me my church before Easter, which was about a month away. After visiting as many different churches as I was invited to, finally on Good Friday, the Lord led me to the Catholic Church. The moment I arrived at the church, I felt a tremendous peace come over me , and I knew I was home. With great joy, I was received into the Church on August 22, 1991. At some point, I wrote down my testimony and sent it to the Association of Hebrew Catholics. They printed it in their newsletter, and gave me permission to photocopy it. I made thousands of copies, which I handed out on street corners and everywhere I went. I attended conferences, went on retreats and pilgrimages, took classes, read books, and spent every free minute studying my Faith. There is so much beauty and truth, so much to learn, in the Church founded 2000 years ago by Jesus Himself. I’ve been Catholic now for over 33 years, and I thank God every day for my Catholic Faith. It is such a blessing to be in the Church that Jesus founded, able to partake of the Holy Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the greatest sources of grace on earth. I thank God every day for my Catholic Faith. God bless you and may Yeshua be with you as you continue your journey.

Anyone who tells you that those prophecies are part of the Christian Old Testament and changed in order to look like Jesus was the Messiah can simply go to the original books of the Tenakh that are published by Jewish publishers and read it side-by-side with the English and Hebrew. You can easily find it online on Chabad website. They might be numbered differently, which is very common, but the words are still there. You can even turn on commentary, which in some cases still sounds like it's Messianic prophecy. In some cases, the commentary tries to imply that the prophecies are about the nation of Israel, not a specific Messiah, but those are only very recent few hundred years when Christian missionaries tried to convince Jews that Yeshua fulfilled the prophecy. When you read the commentaries prior to this time, all of the Rabbis believed it was Messianic.

Why have I never heard a sermon about the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, on Christian television in the U.S. ? New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the questions below? Who is the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Who is the “son” that is the “heir” to the land in Matthew 21:37-43? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. God is not now a “racist”. He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by His Son’s blood at Calvary. The Apostle Paul warned against using “genealogies” in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. James...I am baffled how you could commit adultery when you are not actually married??? I suppose it depends on what you mean by "adultery"....
@dhanyrafael2 ай бұрын
You can sin with thought alone, the deed is not necessary. That's why we are all sinners by thought, by word, by deed. Even if we don't sleep with women, we sin by only thinking of sleeping with them.

Correct. An unmarried person does not commit adultery. It is considered fornication.

An unmarried person having a relationship with a married person would be adultery.

Amen!! Jesus Christ is definitely Lord God Almighty! Just be open minded/hearted and seek Jesus and pray to Him that you don't believe in Him,that He's just a fairy tale but if He's real and really does offer the gift of salvation to anyone who believes,say reveal Yourself to me and give me that gift,i want it if it's real. He ain't afraid to hear you call Him fairy tale,just be as open and honest as you can,He already knows your thoughts about Him anyway,you cannot hide it so just tell Him all honestly and ask Him to reveal Himself and go ahead and read gospel of John and see for yourself,many were saved after that. Remember,the wages for sin is death BUT the GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. He Who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God through Him. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him HAS everlasting life. God bless.

Wow thank you for sharing you invaluable conversion story and how reading the bible everyday has improved your life and helped you stay strong in faith! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints or what you call a "Mormon". I know we are excluded from the "Christian" club, but I believe in Christ and that he will come again soon. This might not mean much to you, but The Book of Mormon is the keystone of our Religion and was written before and around the time of the New testament era by Prophets of God here in the Americas about their interactions with the Lord and his appearance to the native people here after his Death and resurrection. It was understood by these Prophets (Mormon), who compiled an abridgment of ancient Records testifying of Christ and his gospel. But one of its top priorities is to convince the Jew that Jesus is the Christ! So I celebrate when I meet or see Jewish who find Jesus and practice faith in him!! I've met people like you in Chile and in the states who are beleiving in Christ and makes my heart fill with Joy!!!

I find the part about chapter 53 being “skipped in Synagogue” to be extremely disingenuous and misleading. There are 52 weeks in a year and a small passage from a Prophet is read each Saturday in Synagogue following the Torah reading. There are 66 chapters in Isaiah alone, and some 20+ prophetic books to choose from, meaning that most chapters are not read in Synagogue. There’s no evidence to any sort of “calculated skipping” This is just another one of some 300+ chapters that aren’t read
@MichaelDBiggsАй бұрын
If you're familiar with Art Katz, he said as well that Isaiah 53 was not taught in the synagogues when he was growing up. I have Jewish friends who say the same. And the Rabbinical notes I do have on Isaiah 52-53 attempt to make the nation of Israel fit the passages.

@@MichaelDBiggsI’m assuming you mean “read in synagogue” because none of it is taught lol With that said, as I mentioned in my comment, most of the prophets are not read in Synagogue

@@yitzyfink "read." You are correct. Very good! But that doesn't change the truth that certain portions are purposely avoided. The same is true in the "Christian " churches. There's quite a bit of both Testaments that is skipped over.
