I would like to recommend a pastor named Voddie Baucham. He gives an excellent lesson on how to defend your faith when people ask why you believe the bible. Thanks for the documentary. I haven't cried in a long time-until last night. Dr. Nabeel Quereshi and Ravi Zacharias are the ones I followed when I was seeking Jesus and whether this was all true. I was done when Nabeel popped up in the video and I heard the beautiful things he said about Jesus and his testimony. Same story, different salesman. I take the Bible for what it claims to be, The Word of God. The witness of those who recorded the actions and word of Jesus and the Apostles is compelling: people don't die for something they know to be a lie. The fact that there are multiple witnesses who often challenged one another points to credibility of the core messages of Christianity. By contrast, Muslims die for a book that one man claimed was true, but he never allowed anyone else to question him and there were no other witnesses. One man's dream / nightmare has confused and mislead so many!

Would not those people make records of his visit? Where does it say in the Bible that God would stop talking to His children? That can be a double edged sword because the DSS also contains scripture and beliefs that Christians either abandoned or reject, ie 2 separate messiahs (One combative davidic, one priestly from aaron), the book of enoch and more. There own Islamic sources say Uthman burned the Quran. Sahih Bukhari 4987 (Islams most reputable scholar) "Uthman sent to every providence one copy of what they had copied and ordered that all other manuscripts written in fragments or whole copies be BURNED" This is not from a Christian source but from the hadith which is what instructed Muslims to pray 5 times per day. The Quran does not tell Muslims to pray 5 times, the hadith does. Keep in mind these students arent taught all of what islam teaches but rather their teachers cherry pick what to show them.

Quran 4:103 "Surely the Salah at fixed hours (of the day and night) has been enjoined upon the believers". The Quran tells you there are fixed times to pray. At the time of Prophet Muhammad he would have told them exactly how and when to pray. The Hadith shows you exactly how and when to pray long after Muhammad. Because it is not explained how to do it exactly in the Quran. But everything you say in the Salah(prayer) is in the Quran.

We know about and have copies of at least 26 different versions of the Qu’ran. He failed in his quest to burn all the variants after choosing which Qu’ran was the “perfect word of Allah.” Muslim scholars know this. This is nothing new to them. They do not speak about it to lay Muslims, ie, ordinary Muslims who have no education on that subject because they believe it would lead many of them to question the authenticity of the Qu’ran and hurt their faith in it and their apologists and Imams. There’s even a KZbin video of a Muslim scholars telling a Muslim apologist not to tell lay Muslims about this issue. Muhammad could neither read nor write, he dictated the verses orally and instructed early followers of his to mark down the revelation on whatever materials were available: tree branches, stones, leather, and bones. Hundreds of his followers had their own versions that they had memorized from what they had written down and heard from each other. Most of these were destroyed during the purification process along with the couple dozen versions from his closest advisers, friends, and those who took up the mantle of being the next leader, when the “perfect Qu’ran” was chosen.” It can be very dangerous to talk about this subject depending on where in the world you live or to what audience you are talking to. There are some very dangerous areas in the U.S. but besides the obvious places like the Middle East, parts of Asia, and Africa, Europe and the U.K. is dangerous as well. Much more dangerous than the U.S. There are “no go” zones for police in the UK, Germany, France, and Scandinavia where Muslims have taken over and created “little Mecca’s” and it gets violent fast if you try to police Muslims in those areas, let alone try to tell the truth about the Qu’ran or preach the gospel there.

There is 7 different recitations of the Quran which are slightly different ways of pronouncing certain words in different regional versions of Arabic, there is nothing lost in translation. The ability to understand the “what” of Jesus is dependent on understanding the “why”. When you read the eyewitness accounts of what Jesus said about himself and what he said about God the Father, we are given the perspective of people who couldn’t wrap their minds around Jesus as God in the flesh. They did not comprehend why Jesus allowed himself to be put to death! Until- Jesus himself explained everything after he came out of the tomb and was seen by all the apostles and 500 other people simultaneously (1 Corinthians 15)! And these same people believed in his resurrection so strongly, that they were willing to die for what they knew to be the truth. The Quran makes false claims when it says God is not a Father, and that no one is the Son of God. So there's no need to do any further consideration for the Quran. God revealed that he is a Father, and that there are many Sons of God, and that there's only one Begotten Son of God. The Quran admits Jesus is the only person to have preexisted his birth. The Quran gives special honor to Jesus' mother, Mary, and the Hadiths admit Mohammad's mother is in hell. The Quran admits Jesus is the Word, and that he is the Messiah. We also learn that Jesus created life from clay, and that is what Allah does...so Allah has a partner in Jesus. Where did you get that the Holy Qur'an is the third testament of the bible? Wake up. Those centuries of lies, misinterpreted and misinformation are gone. It says the bible, tora etc. are scriptures sent to earlier prophets and that they have all been corrupted. Muslims never deny them not accept them. And they don't have to as they were meant for certain groups of people for certain time period only and so Allah SWT didn't feel it necessary to protect them. The Holy Qur'an is the last and final revelation meant not just for muslims but for the entire mankind till the end of time. The New Testament was originally written down in Aramaic. The Greek NT is a 1st century Translation. We have the Aramaic words that Yeshua, Mattai (Matthew), Marcus, Lucas, Yoḥannan, Yaaqoḅ (James), Petros, Yudah, & Paulus wrote down. The Aramaic NT hasn't been changed. The Greek NT is also well preserved. We are certain of 98 - 99% of the original Greek words based on three trustworthy sources (Textus Receptus (used for KJV) Majority Text (based on the majority reading of the 2000+ Greek Texts) & the NU Text (based on the older but less manuscript witnesses). That's just based on the Greek text witnesses alone. The Hebrew & Aramaic OT is preserved as well except for some grammatical errors (the letters yod & vav were sometimes misread, etc.). However, we know which letter it is based on the system of Hebrew grammar & early translation witnesses. The correct spelling is usually given in the side margin. The whole Bible is rigorously verified to ensure an accurate translation. Many or most English Bibles didn't verify with the Aramaic witnesses (Targums, Peshitta) to ensure an accurate translation. The 3rd or 4th century Sahidic Coptic translation & the 4th century Latin Vulgate can also be used to compare with the original Hebrew & Aramaic words to verify that there hasn't been any changes. - The main differences in the English translations are due to what the translator thinks a particular verse says; not to any variant Hebrew or Aramaic reading. The translator's bias, ignorance, hatred or conditioning can affect an accurate translation. - Muslims defame the accuracy of the Bible b/c the Bible contradicts the Quran. That's Muslim bias. The Bible is well preserved. I may not agree with every English translation but I do know that Muslim re-interpreting of Biblical verses is just not what the original Hebrew & Aramaic says. I trust the faithful transmission of the Hebrew & Aramaic texts.

The translation of the Bible that floats around now was originally written in Greek. Why would a Bible written in Greek have an Arabic word or a Hebrew word or an English word. For example if I looked at the Greek translation does it say “God” or does it say a Greek word that is synonymous or recognized as being the word “god” but in Greek?

Bingo. He may have been brought up in a Christian house, gone to church, sang the songs, attended Sunday school.... may have even been baptized and/or confirmed. But once the Word of God brings you from death to life, as the Scriptures say, you HAVE PASSED from death to life, and the Holy Spirit is given to us as a guarantee. So whenever someone says, "I was a Christian..." I usually stop them right there. No, you thought you were a Christian. Outwardly, you had the appearance, but inwardly, you were never brought from death to life. Now the good news is someone could still be truly converted and brought to life later, so we must never give up and write a person off. And some genuinely converted people suffer doubts and troubles that drive them far away for a time, but the spark of life and faith will remain and God can restore even the most wretched of sinners. I know... because he has restored me many times. It's the parable of the Prodigal Son all over. The son is always a son. God the Father restores him, forgiving even when he is far off. Running to meet him and dress him with clothes of righteousness and to prepare a feast, for the lost is found!

It’s not a question of believing, it’s a question of do you have the Holy Spirit? In Acts, Paul baptized two people who were baptized in water with the Holy Spirit. I was an atheist and now I walk with Christ. God is real. His Holy Spirit is real. You put your faith in him at first, but once you receive the Spirit, you receive the relationship with Jesus. It’s more real than anything else you can experience.

It's not in the original language. The Arabic was different and not many know it today (most Muslims don't even know the current one), and vowels and dots were added which weren't part of the original text. Which greatly affected the meaning with the new use of recitations. Where verses can now have many meanings. One verse can both talk about their prophet and god, they can't be both right, meaning some Qurans have been corrupted with new meaning. The 37 Qurans from 1924 which Muslims use today can't also agree whether they should have 114, 115 or 116 Surahs, therefore some have more/less words added than others. Uthman had to burn so many as memorization proved ineffective. The claim that it was preserved word for word and has the original language is baloney. Jesus is the way brother. I’m a former atheist. When you put your faith in Jesus, he will lift your burdens when you ask for forgiveness of your sins. When you get baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is given to you, you’ll know how real God is. You don’t have to know all of the answers, that’s what faith is all about. @danielz8183 setting aside Islam for one moment, people of different denominations have been told different "truths", so there isn't even agreement on Christianity within the Christian faith. Sure there are common themes and a common outcome e.g. salvation through christ, but the diversity in theology is huge. The books of the bible are different across different denominations. Your "truth" can/will be different to other Christians

As always just a small search in islamic sources debunks what they say. Also the idea of letter for letter dot for dot preservation is a myth. You can find plenty of variants within the quran manuscripts. And yeah, check the hadith collections for other mentions of verses missing or forgotten.

@@stevenmora0017 My point is perfect preservation is a myth. No book before the invention of the printing press is without textual variants. And this knocks the quran down a peg as in surah 15:8-9 it says "8 We do not send the angels down except for a just cause, and then ˹the end of˺ the disbelievers will not be delayed. 9 It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it." So angels guard the quran but it has textual variants? It's not so much a claim against the quran being reliable so much as it is a claim against the quran being right. If it's wrong about its own preservation then how can we trust it elsewhere?

The Qur'an was originally just a "revelation" to Muhammad. Then he told his friends & they wrote it for him in several media such as animal skins, papyrus, leaves, etc. That's what I know from Islamic history, but some Muslims often lied that the "revelations" came down in a form of writings. What makes written truth less than spoken truth? Nothing. It all comes down to witness accounts. The Qur'an had no witnesses but Muhammad himself. Meanwhile, The Gospel & the whole Bible was written by people who can read & write with multiple witnesses who spoke different languages.

The entire Bible from beginning to end points to Jesus Christ - Even the 4 gospels agree with the same narrative. That's quite a feat with different anonymous authors - the entire story lines up.
