So, did he steal babies from parents who *wanted* their child and were told the baby had died, or only sell late-term aborted babies who survived? (Either way it was dishonest and is shocking.)

It is speculated that the dr actually induced the mother's early. Some babies may have died. Some were given/sold to parents under 40wks. They were sickly.

Yep! The oldest man Steven was a twin and their mother was told they were stillborn and they the twins were sold. Twins were worth more. So so terrible. I can't imagine how bad those moms suffered when thinking her babies died and they were really alive out there somewhere! I hope that doctor is in hell! All the trauma he caused for 1000 bucks

Todas verdade será difícil saber ,mas tem gente importante que colaborava com esse médico e muitos perguntas sem respostas e quem garante que não houve mortes ? Vi a reportagem o delegado da cidade dizendo que na família dele teve uma tia jovem com problema de asma ,e o tal dr. aplicou uma injeção e logo depois do umas horas morreu morreu? Faltou cooperação de autoridades desde o começo das investigações.Qdo se vende um ser humano isso não é caridade . Ganância,poder ,sujeira ,crime .Trouxe problemas para todos envolvidos .E os que sabem algo se calam .Cruel demais .

Ok, I don’t want this to sound insensitive, but if this doctor was taking babies who would otherwise be aborted, and giving them to families who were desperate for a baby and would take care of them-I believe charging 1000 dollars at the time, would ensure the baby was going to a family who could afford and take care of it. It is a very “country” mentality-the whole operation. Obviously taking a baby from a mother who wanted it and telling her it’s dead is abhorrent-however, we need more of that story to understand what was actually going on. Perhaps he saw the mother as an abuser and was trying to save the baby from a life of sadness and pain. I also have noticed when adopted kids really search for their birth parents they end up appreciating the adoptive parents more because they finally understand the love they had to adopt them. Just my two cents.

The doctor was doing lots of abortions, except for finding newborn white babies for desperate couples, who were willing to pay lots of money for the newborns... He has no redeeming qualities!!

There is absolutely NO REASON to steal a mother's baby!!! Look at Steven's situation, he was another hicks baby! Watch the documentary on Hulu. She had twins and she was told her babies were still born and then Dr. Hicks SOLD THEM. I hope he is burning in hell for what he did to those mothers and babies

Georgia Tann was far more diabolical, murdering 500 babies and children, plus stole children out of their homes, raped the children and sold them!
