New Hampshire social worker Kim Fairbank, 51, always knew she was adopted. After a rough childhood of familial disappointments, she yearned to connect with her biological family. She tried DNA testing and waited for answers. It was MyHeritage DNA that brought Kim the match of a lifetime - with her biological father.

I was given up for adoption when I was a few months old. I met my biological parents when I was 16. I totally understand the nervousness. Wondering if you're going to be accepted by your family. I am thankful to God that I was accepted and stayed close to my Dad until his death in 2012. And I still remain close to my Mom. It is definitely a blessing.

Support your husband in his search, the truth sets us free! While his mother told the children not to contact him, she cannot control other adults forever. Yes, it makes you wonder. Did her Mom lie to throw him off if he decided to look for Kim? Or could Kim have a twin; or does her Dad have another child out there? I would say her Mom lied to be the easiest explanation but it's odd coincidence that a psychic said that a son was looking for him.
